I have seen this topic in older post and tried to follow the fixes suggested and nothing has worked. Yes the clothing is in my hangar directly (mens marshal jacket and a outlaw jacket along with a pair of boots) not in a container or anything like that. I hit the character customization button and went to the recustomization mirror in the captains quarters. when i click either one i dont get the charater is flagged for resculp option it takes me directly to the screen with none of my items in there so i brought my items to other stations with absolutely nothing in the hangar tried again same results. I even tried recustimising my look snapped a new portrait saved and re-entered still nothing infact out of the three stations i tried at not including my home base there wasnt even jackets to look at so if anyone could help me figure out how to get my clothing into the character customization screen i would greatly appreciate it.

The only thing I can suggest is that you may need to wait for a while before the clothing shows up.
If you go to the character customisation screen straight after moving the clothing to a new hangar, it doesn't show up in the clothing choices carousel every time. If you go and do something else, or log off for a while, the next time you go into the customisation screen, it will show up on the extreme left of the choices (Outerwear, tops or whatever you chose to equip). |

Ahhh that may be it then sir cause i did have it in a station container for a long while. Thank you for the help i will edit this comment at a later time if and when it works. |

Clothes need to be on the hangar "floor" before they show up in these 're-customization screen (the little t-shirt symbol station service or the mirror in your captains quarters).
This isn't the same as a resculpt.

the whole character customisation thing seems really buggy at the moment, alot of things seem to be disappearing randomly

I hate to give the "launcher sux" group more food, as i've never had an issue with it. But I was having this issue with clothes not showing and items missing from the options.
I tried by passing the launcher, and it seemed to correct the issue. I haven't tried using the customization again through the launcher, which I probably should have, since I completed the things I wanted. |

Sometimes i notice all the hair options aren't available so I restart my client and then they are all there again. I concur, something is up with the character editor.
Your clothes have to be in your main hangar. If you still can't see them try restarting your client that seems to work for me.

Happens, mate. When logging out an back in doesn't help then try clearing your cache (ESCape menu). In case you spent real money on it you should send in a support ticket. What won't help at all is switch from DX11 to DX9 or vice versa or changing your graphics settings randomly and then ending the process in the task manager violently, but you could try anyway. No, I'm not joking. I abuse my clients.

Same worked for me. Could not get all the outter wear to display, much less some outter wear items in the hangar until I bypassed the launcher. |

Can confirm some bugs myself. Luckily the stuff I wanted to wear was selectable :)
