So ok Research Agents are limited to handing out (in exchange for RPs) 4 x Datacores per day but the fact that they only offer those related to the field you are currently undergoing study in together is not only too restrictive but downright frustrating.
The simple solution would be to offer the relevant Datacores from all the areas in which they have expertise but to charge more for the areas outside of your joint Research Project.
Not only would this alleviate tedium & frustration but also it would more quickly reduce older players stockpiled RP's
Also it is a chore having to travel to the Research Agents each day in order to be able to acquire the 4 x Datacores

Feeling, and sharing, your pain. (Linkey)
Protagonist must have an Antagonist. Otherwise he's just a guy playing with himself.

A year ago, when I picked up my R&D agents in five different fields my friends told me I was nuts, that I should put all my points into starship engineering.
Now, I have a fistful of points in various fields instead of all my points in starship. Many of my points were at 1x multiplier, not the 3x of starship. Whether by foresight or just plain luck, my mechanical engineering points actually mean something right now. Your suggestion would make them worth less than 3x nothing.

Looks like the devs want us to go and make use of the new exploration feature to get these datacores and whatnots. Maybe they also want some kinda equilibrium so the tech 2 market does'nt bottom out or something.
If I had ú1 for every intelligent comment posted in general discussion, I'd be hideously in debt |

I too have a mixed bag of RP's. However why should I be forced to slowly spend 200k's worth of points on more Starship Datacores than I could ever possibly utilise

Sell them for obscene prices while they're new, its only a cash bonus but its an option with the ones you dont need. Just a thought. Who'd have thought, a R&D agent making you money without the bpo lol.

Yes but with everyone having RPs and particularly in the Starship fields they're unlikely to have much value .. MOOCIFER Emerald/Alpha Oldtimer |

switched to a mech agent and the mirror happened... i feel cursed;)

I guess it is about choices. So many people chose to put so much in starship engineering knowing they were limiting the chances of rewards in other fields - T2 BPOs at the time. We chose our fields freely. To now totally discount people who made other choices, ie. avoid starship engineering even with its 3x multiplier, would probably be in line with other choices CCP has made but it would suck for those who didn't play that way.
