If you are new to this game I appologise 
Geddons are pretty much useless these days... Yes I still fly one in combat out of nostalgia more then anything else.
(People still tend to primary geddons, which can be turned to your advantage in a small fleet battle.)
Anybody about to use the word 'dps' in some kind of flame please learn more about the game before you post 
Geddons are also very very bad for solo combat since your guns cant hit even hit bs that come within about 5k of you.
If you are determined to solo in a geddon send me an ingame message and ill tell you my setup.
Alternatively fly a good bs....

Dual heavy pulses II, dual rep tank, 1 1600m at least. Med layout: 2x 20k & a SB II OR 2x SB & a 20k. Figure out the rest, might be tight on CPU.

The BoB model is bad for business. Incidently the BoB model is more suited for a game such as WoW where as the ASCN model more suited for Eve.

wow seems u even get smack on the forums. ever heard of web drones? how about 5 heavies? yup they fit. ever heard of dithcing the propulsion mod when gate camping as it's not majorly needed. ppl only say things like that because they lack the intelligence to adapt and use their brain.
and if u wanna throw around insults then at least come and do it in game and back it up.

Don't listen to the idiots telling you amarr is worthless, they just have tiny*****s. The geddon is a really nice gank ship and can get an ok tank on at the same time. I'm no expert on setups but have a look through the index at the top of the page and you'll probably get some nice ideas.

Ignoring the sorry flamefest above, let me firstly point out that the 'geddon is the only Tier 1 BS really capable of solo low sec sentry tanking, or at least the best at it of all the Tier 1s.
Sure, some ships do it better. Some ships that cost ~1.7x as much as would require an Amarr Specced character months of training to achieve skill levels that make them more effective than the 'geddon. Great.
So, yes, ignore the morons.
Unfortunately I can't recall my set up but it was always pretty effective. It used Megapulses, a Med Nos to fill the 8th high, 1 LAR II, 2 1600mm RTs and no speed mod, and I always used to change around the meds as I was never happy with them (yes three meds is a pain, but not one that can't be overcome). In it I killed an NPC fitted Raven (which fully returned fire) solo and under sentry fire, among other things. Sorry I don't recall more.

7x Megapulse II
2x Eutetic Cap Chargers + 20km Scram
3x Heatsink II/2x 1600mm Rolled Tungsten/2x EANMII/1x Emergency Damage Control (better if you can afford it)
I get around 708 DPS not including drones. Packs good resists with over 15k armor.
Loses around 50 DPS post-kali due to Conflagration nerf, or so it was last time I logged into SiSi.
An alternative setup is a heavier tank with Dual Heavy Pulses, but really the DPS on that is underwhelming.

I used to use a Geddon post RMR to tank the Sentries. I could destroy 3+ cruisers before I had to warp out. It has a role. People confuse what ships can do with how they compare to other ships in their class. An Arma doesn't compare to a Dominix. And in that sense it is broken (or the Domi is uber) but it can do some stuff if that is what you have to work with.
