It seems like the destroyers and battlecruisers where the redhead step children of EVE. Now that we have T3 Destroyers. How about in the next year we get some additional ships in the form of T3 Battlecruisers.
I am not suggesting what features or abilities that they have, I will leave that up to discussion. I just think that adding a viable larger platform ship would change of the current PVP meta. It would be something welcomed by PVE people as well at PVPs.

T3 frigates! For elite, small, fast warfare... you know, what frigates already do!
T3 Battleships with doomsdays, to fill the roll of faster, smaller tank Titans!
T3 Carriers that launch 50 fighters to replace an entire fleet of light support!
T3 Titans because "Now that we have T3 "..." ... How about in the next year we get some additional ships in the form of T3 Titans."
Yes you heard right, we should have a T3 version of every ship, to make every T1 and T2 ship obsolete. Sure they're worse in every way, but they're cheaper, so you peasants with your casual isk-making can fight each other, giving us "leet T3 pros" some skirmishes to 3rd party on.
More T3s please. Preferably way more OP than the trash, barely T2 stuff we've been getting lately. I mean c'mon, this "Svipul" thing, or whatever it is, isn't even faster than EVERY frigate, and can only tank more than some, but not all, cruisers.
And that useless Proteus... such garbage, it's EHP is only like 10 or 15% more than a Megathron... so dumb. Needs at least a 50% HP buff to be OP enough for the label of T3.
CCPlease, buff all T3s and add stupidly broken T3s for every class. Thanks.

I never said OP unbalanced ships that make anything obsolete. There are numbers of ways to make a T3 version of a battlecruiser without nullifying the usefulness of battleships.
Frigates already have numerous T1 and T2 variants of hulls. Same with Cruiers. Destroyers have finally gotten a few new hull types. Even battlships have a number of various pirate and naval faction options. However, battlecruisers have the fewest number of hulls in which to fly.
There is only so much "tweaking and modifying" you can do to the current game. New features and new continent makes the game desirable to play. Making old players want to come back - that have stop playing. And it shows new people that are thinking about playing EVE for the first time that the game is still alive and growing.

First of all... Why? Prove it. I often hear about the first years of EVE, where the only ships in the game were the T1 frigs, Cruisers, and Battleships. THAT's. IT.
And they talk about how fun that was. How empty space was. How cool seeing another ship in low or null sec was. More ships =\= better for EVE. It might, it could, but it doesn't when those ships are stupidly OP.
Second... why do all these new ships have be "T3"?!?!?!
Why couldn't we have just gotten 4 new destroyers, with some nice, normal, competitive stats. Like the Algos, Talwar, Corax, Dragoon(?)? Why did they have to be mode-switching, stupid-OP lol-win-button ships like what we got?
Why didn't we just get T2 versions of the Algos, Corax, etc? They could have been probing-bonused, combat specialized hulls, just like the D3s, but without this stupid gimmick T3 label.

Personally I think that the general reaction to your proposal is not "bitter vet syndrome", rather it is an awareness that every class of T3 hull introduced to the game so far has helped to make multiple T1 and T2 hulls redundant and this proposal would probably be no different.
I would go so far as to say that in my experience T3 hulls so far are closing off rather than encouraging the fun options, content and opportunities you seek and leading to a stagnant and boring monoculture in many parts of the PvP meta.

Not necessarily.
More ships are better if they improve the meta and help diversify what people are flying. By and large, T3 ships have been proven to do exactly the opposite. They stagnate the meta and obsolete T1 and T2 ships, meaning that only new players bother flying them, and they get WTFBBQPWNd by their T3 brethren who also have better skilled pilots on top of more powerful ships.
I mean, let's be honest, when T3 cruisers first came out, they obsoleted most (if not all) of the HACs, pretty much all the command ships (in terms of boosting), and they were more effective on the battle field than most battlecruisers,and a fair few battleships because of their agility, small size, and over sized fitting and tank. It's only in the last couple of years that CCP have finally figured out that T3 cruisers were a LOLWTF-Mistake, and started doing something about it.
Then they went and made the same mistake with the T3 Destroyers. There is literally no reason to fly an assault frigate now. None. T3 dessies are faster, tankier, and do more damage. In short, they do what assault frigates do, but better. And at the price point they landed at, they're cheap enough that youc an use them as "throw-away" heavy tackle without fainting from sticker shock when you die.
This is the risk you run into when you start adding new ships, especially in the lower classes.
T3 ships are supposed to be able to do a lot of things pretty good, but not as well as specialized ships (if we harken back to the dev blogs around the command ship bonus rejiggering). T1 base - T2 specialized - T3 generalized. Instead CCP keeps making them do a lot of things ******* awesomely, to the point that it becomes ludicrous to fly anything else, especially for the short trains it takes to get into the destroyers.
Don't get me wrong. I love new ships. I play Eve for the ships, but aside from the Bowhead and the ORE mining frigates, there isn't a ship released in the last two years that doesn't trounce all over some other class of ships. We need more combat roles to fill before we start adding ships to fill them.
Edit: And don't misunderstand me - I didn't shun the T3 dessies. The Jackdaw and I are becoming fast friends. But that doesn't mean they don't need fixing.

Personally...call me crazy, but I feel like T3's should have been removed from the game rather than more added. They did this to industry teams and weapons icons from way back when they were determined to be more of a problem than helpful feature. Why CCP felt adding T3's rather than working on the ones we've had was a good idea? Not sure.
They are a good idea in theory and a pretty cool concept, but it's this Marine's opinion that they are the worst thing to add to a game you're trying to keep balanced.

Maybe give them a mesh between modular like t3 crusiers and modes like t3 destroyers. Maybe make the skills for tge sub mods lev iii so it hurts when you loose one.
