Hey all, I've lately been living out in 0.0, due to a current contract, and I find myslef bored when my targets are not around. SO I like to venture off solo in a random direction of 0.0 space hoping to get a few cheap thrills and maybee some isk along the way. Heres my current Tempest setup:
High:
6x 650mm Scouts
2x Heavy Diminishing NOS
Meds:
T2 AB
X5 Webber
20KM scram
'Hypnos' ECM
Large Electo Cap Booster(800s)
Lows:
2x T2 Large Armor Reppers
1x Kin, Expl, Thermal Hardeners
1x Best named damage control(forgot the name)
My question is should I throw out the AB and replace it with a named MWD for speed. It would totaly gimp my cap and I would probably have to slap a RCU or PDU on instead of the damage control due to the extra power grid the MWD uses. But this would mean I would have alot better chances catching the NPCer before he warpped out.
Another thing that worries me is doing enough damage to the NPCer before backup arrives. All of my gunnery skills are at 4 including minmatar BS lvl 4.
Plz give me some feed back about what you think.

So long as you've a nice supply of ammo, you can drop the ACs down a tier. That frees up enough grid to fit the MWD. They DO eat the ammo like nothing else though.

going with 2 eanm/dcu tank would allow you to fit a gyro for a lot of damage

u manage to lock ppl b4 they warp off without a sensor boost, im surprised.
other than that a tasty setup, dont forget in kali ac's getting 50% more damage with 50% less rof, so need less ammo (thank god)

Use dual 425 + mwd also get yourself at least a dread scrambler, or higher if you can afford to risk it, its amzing how much an extra 4km + mwd helps you catch people

taken from patch notes.
The damage and duration of autocannons have been increased by about 50% for most sizes. This maintains the same damage over time but makes each ammo more valuable.

Thank you for the input guys. I think I'm going to try the 425mm AC and MWD setup. I also have 150 mil ATM so I guess i'll get a faction scammer and maybee a faction webber if I have enough isk left over(doubt it).
GOOD THING FOR THE 50% DMG BONUS IN KALI! The ACs REALLY needed it.
Keep the suggestions coming!

The damage of ACs is staying the same, the only difference is it saves ammo. ACs shoot slower but deal more damage per slot.
