Hi all,
I would just like to remind everyone, that today is the last day that we can use warp core stabilizers. Many glorious days of local smack, and frustrating the enemy will be consigned to the history of Eve.
Therefor I wish to propose that this day will henceforth be known as Intergalatic Warp Core Stabilizer Day.
I will be having a personal minute silence at 12GMT after downtime, and hope more people will join me.
As a final goodbye to these much loved (and hated) modules, I hope everyone has the decorum to take to the space lanes for the rest of the day in full traditional warp core stablizer battle dress - four per ship, as anything less would be a dishonour.

Today is also Intergalactic Cap Recharger II and Vagabond day. It will be the last day that those two items will have an upward trend in their prices

I sold mine weeks ago. I fly it sometimes on the test server for fun moments, but usually have to run away... there is not a lot it can kill anymore. Maybe torpedo Ravens.

Stabs are only nerfed if you want to fight with them equipped. They're just as good as ever if you're gong to be running all the time, like in a hauler or a travelling ship. I wouldn't be pouring out a forty for them quite yet.

As for WCS Boost im all for it as i dont use them at all and i dont PvP much at all.

Funny thing is... when everyone logs into TQ for the first time under Revelations the server is going to crash because of the amount of stabs being reprocessed, and a massive influx of sell orders for 1,000,000,000 Vagabonds in hub systems.
Well, at least Tritanium prices will go through the floor as the reprocessed minerals flood the market...

even with t2 sensor booster and a t2 signal amp (80% boost) you cant counter 2x named wcs (88% penalty). Its still down from 288 to 187 scan res and 60km to 40km.

stacking should also be on penaltys.

lol, you cant even counter one 44% wcs with a sensor booster 60%?
how does that make any sense? you still suffer around 10% penalty.

The 'Invention' feature may break the price-gauging monopoly of T2 BPO holders. Kinda depends a lot on how much it costs in terms of effort and components to produce the items. Supply will probably increase, but whether the prices drop remains to be seen.
With my luck I'll probably invent the T2 WCS.

I always found combat ships that fit stabs funny. Combat ships that fit stabs and then dedicate more slots to countering the side effects of the stabs would be even funnier.

I smell a 150km+ Sniper crying because he can't put 4x stabs in his lows so he can get away when an alliance *****s down on him.

How does that affect the Crane? Even without any stabs installed, it starts out with a -2 warp.
Like it has stabs built in...

It doesn't. It only affects Warp Core Stabilizers. And the "nerf" is that they now reduce your range by 50% and a penalty to scan resolution. So you target slower and can't hit as far away if you mount them. They're intended for TRAVEL. A crane has an innate warp strength so that is unaffected. But if you add stabs on top of it their penalites will affect the ship.
