This idea gets my vote but I would recommend getting of least 300-500mil for trading if you go that route.
Also thats what I would be doing if I wasn't in an alliance.

Wonder if that still works. When I did my first trade runs in an indi a long time ago (pre-WoW lol), it was quite easy to make a few millions in a mammoth with only a few jumps.
Since almost a year I've got a freighter alt and really didn't bother to do npc traderuns.
Freighter has more cargo than I can ever fill in one place, so freighter trading at least with npc goods seems to be a fulltime job now with route planning etc. and a lot of competition. Not just a quick look at the market, grep some stuff and do that run 5 times without thinking.
Ok, maybe that's just me. I'm usually in 0.0 and want easy isk, when I need them.

I prefer assets tbh instead of liquid money, as they are affected by the market and you could end up waking one day and having your assets triple in price ... or fail miserably and be an economical disaster
