I wouldn't really call this feedback, these are merely some observations I have made in my first hour or so in Revelations.
There is a LOT of new information in the game now (heavy emphasis on the LOT part). Salvaging, scanning changes, rigs, new ships, new skills, etc. The help channel was bogged down with people asking about how all these new features works (and unfortunately, many of the idlers there don't know how they work yet either).
It's going to take some time for a lot of the players to figure out how the new stuff works, myself included. In a way it's very exciting. It's been over 2 years since I fired up EVE for the first time and had that "virgin" experience of it. It kind of feels the same way again, though maybe on a slightly smaller scale.
EVE has changed a lot over the years, and it keeps changing (for what I call the better). I can't imagine what this game will be like in a few years time.

A lot more people talking in local in a friendly manner (at least in Ours there was). Discussing the changes.
It was a "shiny new toys!!!" feeling when looking at the new ships in space for the first time. People who owned one would bring them out for us to look at. Which was awesome.
Good market opportunities which I took advantage of.
I can't wait to start salvaging. Didn't realize it needed Survey, which is bad, because that's another lvl 5.

First impression?
OMG! WHEN CAN I LOG IN!
Oh no! Don't tell me the stupid cows removed the bookmark bug-fix.
Yeah, they did. Great. Time to petition.
I've got 10 to 15 minutes to log in. GMs say they don't have tools to remove my bookmarks, and they say I should wait for people and places to load. Given it 1 hour now, a corpmate's given it more than 2 hours. Still nothing.
They had this bug fixed in test patch 27791 (where I also didn't have any bookmarks), but it seem they opted to have players remove their own bookmarks before loading Kali. Too bad they only gave us about a days warning, being a weekday, and all. - EVE is sick. |

Pardon if I don't pity anyone who is having trouble with deleting their BMs, but CCP really could have deleted them.
Personally a complete BM wipe would not be inappropriate.

Speaking of the chat area, the new standings display is very useful. ---------------

I am just wondering how long a person will remain in a chatwindow with a red box next to him after he logs?
Not sweet.
And maybe time for someone to post a guide to system scanning, salvaging and invention. There is nowhear to be found how to do it, what modules/skills/tools is required.
I tried the invention menu on a BPO but all it said was that I needed the required datacores or something... but how the hell should I know which ones they are?

Well i for one likes the timeing of the patch, 2am start meant i could resist the temptation of staying up late, just went to bed with the xmas eve feeling
logged for 15mins before work, Auto patch worked fine. bookmarks loaded ok, Made a start at deleting most of my gate instas.
Cant wait to try the new BC, The new BS dont excite me muh, Im confused about rigs and boosters.
The map is the biggest gripe, really dont like the new look and il have to relearn it. Im gonna leave it a few days before i go back to lv4 missions
