Today marks the third anniversary of Emperor Doriam II's coronation.
On this occasion, let us remember the lives and sacrifices of four Amarrians who gave their lives for the Empire:
Idonis Ardishapur Temal Kador Jamyl Sarum Davit Tash-Murkon
To promote stability, and in accordance with our traditions, these four brave men and women committed Shathol'syn before the assembled congregation, and in doing so ascended into heaven.
I salute them all.

Different perspectives. Verjigorm, who served Jamyl personally and also followed her "departure" and perhaps even Thyraax certainly would contradict that statement.

Verjigorm, Tyrrax and yourself may all choose to perceive Lady Sarum as someone skulking in the shadows after failing to do her duty, but I prefer to remember her as a loyal patriot who gave her life for the Empire.
She was more of an Amarrian than you will ever be.
May God grant her eternal glory.

We simply choose to not be deluted by inventing martyrs in lack of real ones. Anyway, cry at her "grave" I couldn't care less. You will be giving her and all of us a good laugh, as always.

Each maggot who tries to become Emperor and fails has to commit suicide. There was talk of Jamyl Sarum not going to honour this.
I had my covert agents at this coronation and confirm that she did, indeed, commit suicide.

I had the honor of attending Doriam's inauguration ceremony. Therefore I can share my first-hand experience of the events.
I can confirm Jamyl Sarum's frozen corpse briefly registering on my ship's scanners after her pod self-destructed. No one can survive that.
There is nothing else to add.

Respects, Master Kronarty, but Revan is not the sort of person to let facts (or her relative youth as a licensed pod pilot) get in the way of her self-inflated perception of importance or infalibility.

Finally; a clear and concise admission of hostile acts against the Empire.

Edited by: Andreus Ixiris on 29/11/2006 22:08:35 Hostile acts against Amarr Navy slavers, operating in Federation and Republic sovreign territory without official permit, setting up unauthorised structures in that same space without even setting up a locational warning beacon, abducting free Federation and Republic citizens, and moving a large fleet of Apocalypse-class battleships into the area without official explanation or announcement.
What your kindred have done classifies as acts of war. I was being merciful on everyone in the cluster by blowing them to pieces and sparing both our peoples a long, painful war. Perhaps I was wrong - perhaps I should have exposed this the moment I found it.
I was permitted to operate against your so-called Navy by Quafe Corporation, who had orders from the sovreign owners of the territory I was operating in (high-security Federation space, and then subsequently high-security Minmatar space). Thus, acting against me for destroying Amarrian Navy ships (although to be honest it wasn't all that difficult, your shipwrights aren't exactly the brightest fireworks in the parade) would be a further act of war.
Not that I'm asking you not to try - I'll enjoy blowing up people who talk back even more.

The heirs to the empire do not have clones. It is considered impure by the Amarrians (which is why normal pod-pilots are not eligible for the position, ever).
If Sarum had a clone, it would be a scandal. She would be outcast.
But of course, all that is just idle speculation. Jamyl Sarum is dead, by all accounts. ------------------------------------------- "Sarcasm and irony are not to be used by the uninitiated."

Andreus Ixiris... a warmongering Gallente? Funny, I though you people had no stomach for a fight.
I don't get the whole ritual suicide thing. Why throw away the powerful and respected heads of the houses just because of some dusty old tradition? LET them scheme over the throne, I say. Conflict breeds a healthy market.
Of course, I'm not Amarrian, so I'm not chained to the ground by shackles of tradition two thousand years in the making... ____________________________________________________________
