Ya, tis annoying, two stabs take a range of 30hm down to under 15km targetting.
Stabs are worthless for combat ships now.

That was the intention.
I realize that, its annoying only in the fact that I took the time to skill up to use them and then have it turned around and say my time was wasted.

Ya, I had 2 stabs on, I knew they were being nerfed but I didn't think they'd affect a full 15km+ in targetting range is all.

I must have missed the Warp Core Stabilizer skill.
Exactly what I was thinking! So you trained Warp Drive Operation to level 1, that must have taken 10 whole minutes!!!!!!! I would send a petition to CCP for your 100 skill points!!! lol (nevermind that it should be trained to reduce warping cap drain anyway)
Still time I could have used training something else.

If you have a stab on your ship, then its not quite a fully committed combat ship to begin with.

Wow, looks like I've helped turn this thread in to a real laugh riot, eh? rofl..
I don't use them anymore, I had been using them because I was told that they were good thing to have on (obviously before the patch) and realized I still had them on when going after some Rats. Heh, so ya, in retrospect, its pretty funny.

How you could be and old enough player to be in a raven and only used stabs because "you were told they were good" without wondering why, is beyond me.
Old enough? Well I just recently started playing again after a number months hiatus. Why? I got deployed and didn't get far enough in to EVE like I really wanted to before hand. I went off of advice from some corp-mates who were trying to help me out. I still don't know alot the nuances of this game, and ask questions alot for better understanding--and if an answer seems reasonable and can help me, I'll use it. Especially if its been working for others as well.
And I wasn't in a Raven, I was in a Caracle. The OP may have been in the Raven though....
