1. Some people seem unable to undock. The undock messages will progress right to the undock point and then abort. No reason given.
Have had others undock and fly though same system to test.
2. Petitions not giving notification. If you submit a petition it will submit but will not give any notification 'This means you can accidently submit lots of stuck petitions and not realise it'!
3. Delete funtions dont seem to work. I could not delete said petitions after realising I had raised them. Also I could not delete BMs.
4. Character selection not working. Some people cannot change characters on the same account. Clicking the potrait will not switch, nor will it lauch you into the game. In this case the Enter game button needs to be pressed.
In all above cases deleteing the Cache did not help.
Pls post other kali bugs and any solutions. ty.

It takes 20 minutes to login on some characters. P&P will not load buddies, agents, or bookmarks. Thus I cannot get rid of my gate to gate bookmarks (and I really want too).

BSOD - Reboot :
If you have:
Motherboard Chipset 975X, Realtek Sound Onboard
When does it happen : 
When activating Armor Repair(always) or Fighting NPC Rats(not always but most of the time)
Solution: 
Disable Sound in EVE.
Or.
Turn off Sound Hardware acceleration in Control panel -> Sound |

someone toled me to delete the capture folder.
now i can chance my char, also my skills and i can undock :)

Confirmed. Same chipset and audio...same problems. Disabled sound and it works.

I haven't tried this myself, but since we both want all the problems in 1 thread, I'll post what this other thread establishes.
- Crash when attacked by multiple NPCs, takes out entire computer requiring a reboot.
-Solution: Disable Sound
Apparently RealTek built-in sound has this issue, unclear about other motherboards.

hehe... have been playing eve without sound for like 3 months... :) most of sound are so annoying I decided to turn sound completely off - that was good choice... foobar2000 with internet radio in background makes for it! :)

Apparently the probs relating to switching character, undocking and deleting folders etc are related to the Capture folder as said above. Someoen else told me its because of the new was screens are captured. Apparently if you deleted your Machonet folder in the Cache BEFORE patching its fine.
Deleting the Capture folder may work. Failing that a full re-install of eve definatly will. Just remember to copy your System folder and Prefs.ini file from teh Cache first.

Cant log in atm....I select the eve, see the splash screen, then nothing, no log in screen. Pah..

When in a station, if you set a destination in the solar system map, the info that lists the systems that shows up on the left hand side will not show up.
This can be solved by zooming out to star map and then zooming back in to solar system.
Acceleration gates in missions seem to appear futher away then they really are. Ex. The gate looks like it is 15km away but the distance listed is 0 meters.

When in a station, if you set a destination in the solar system map, the info that lists the systems that shows up on the left hand side will not show up.
This can be solved by zooming out to star map and then zooming back in to solar system.

I you find your self stuck at a Black Screen of Death...
The server is busy, log out, try again in 10 mins.
I had every kind of problem lastnight after it came back up. Stuck at Loading screens, stuck at BSOD, Stuck exiting stations, stuck Jumping, crashing 3 or 4 times.
The Solution I found worked was to simply let the server have a few mins before trying again. In some cases I had to wait 10 mins for the BSOD to go away.
Remember that thousands of people are going to be playing and DLing the new patch, this is gonn tax the server hard. Don't freak out and get ****ed, just give everything a chance to fix it's self.

Didn't see this here so I'll post it.
Last night I was ratting. I arrive in a belt, target the rats, launch my drones. I tell my drones to attack my target and they all split up and go wherever they want. I tell them again to attack my target again and then they do. Probably lag based problem.
Tonight. Same deal only this time it's not my drones, it's my own ship. Fly into the belt, target the rats. I click my orbit button while my target is selected and I start to fly to the other ship that is not selected. I looked at my over view, my targetting, and in the game and there is no reason why I would have started going to the other ship.
I mentioned this to a corp mate who mentioned that he selected a wreck, then clicked on approach and his ship turned around and flew in the other direction.
Again, this my all be due to lag... however, the game didn't appear to be lagging at all. Chat windows updating, overview updating, no screen stuttering, no indication of lag.

1) i seem to found is that i lagged out in a tristan after openning a cyn feild 10 mins before with a kestral then when i relogged my tristan had turned into a kestrail ^^ 1 free cyn gen was a bargin no complaints btw
P.N. i doubt this will happen again but was pretty cool.
2) auto pilot seems to warp to 15 km not 0
3) probe launcher still not launching.
Solutions for some probs
1) BM it takes time as evryone is doing it
2) gates in jita are probally lagged cos everyone in jita is deleting bms
3) if you get stuck in character loading screen press escape go to the graphics tab change it to a low setting press close should get rid of the screen.
4) if that happens in a station and above will not work the just press escape shortcuts and then assign one for station eject then use that should work .

#2 isn't a bug,it's suppose to warp you to 15km,only manual warps take you to 0km

I'm also having the problem on the map where it won't show the waypoints on the left side of the screen until i go to the solarsystem map then switch back to the starmap option.

Same problem today. In a punisher and decided to tackle a Phantasm. Hit the orbit @ 3500 button and I went every direction but orbiting. Ended up 15k from the Phantasm aiming for a npc frigate and got my ass shot to bits before I could get turned back around. Had to AB back to the Phantasm and 'manually' orbit

Confirmed. I turned off Hardware acceleration, and then it is "ok". But this has been a known problem for others for a long time. When are they going to fix it? |

When firing my turrets I have no animation of tracking and no firing sound or muzzle flashes. The target simply start to drop HP but my guns look like inactive.
Happens alaways in my computer with Autocannons (425 mm and 180mm that I use). It is damm anoying.
Aso I dont have the "tunnel effect΅ while in warp anymore. My shgip look like completely stalled. (but it does move since it gets to destination.
It seems overall an issue with game animation systems.

You will have to ask the manufacturer of your crappy sound card that question.

EVE refuses to let me fullscreen on my main monitor. I am using a laptop with an additional monitor, which is the main screen, the laptop screen is the secondary (extended desktop). Graphics card is ATI Radeon Mobility 9700/128 MB RAM.
EVE graphics setup screen gives me the choice between monitors, but regardless what I choose, EVE fullscreens on the laptop screen. In windowed mode the mouse is jumpy, erratic on the main monitor (this was also the case pre-Revelations if I dragged the EVE window to the screen which was not selected in graphics setup).
This is a post-patch issue and IMPORTANT asEVE should be played on big monitors, not tiny ones,

I had the same problem. Fixed it by completely uninstalling my McAfee Security Center software, and then re-running Eve. Simply disabling the firewall, without uninstalling it, did not solve the problem.
