I bet 25-30% of every1 in Jita are afk as well. On top of this 30% are alts of some sort just browsing the market, hoping for that Tier2 BC / Tier3 BS bargain.
Solution: kick all the afkers out and to all of those who have alts in there, move them to an adjacent system for the market browsing

I feel blessed. Right after the patch I got in there, got the item I was in there to get, got out, and suffered no queues. It was 600 in local then too. And I won't be going back soon lemme tell ya.

Let me guess this right.. Is it the player fault that the game servers or whatever sucks... Its typical smash noobie if you ask me.. maybe you are a GM wanna be or something. 
I lost 5 hours of training cus of this cus i couldnt wait for the uber nodes/servers to load and had to sleep.

I'm so glad I don't have to go to Jita often.
My solutions to the problem. Make the system a 1.0 I think it's a .9 right now?
Second remove all agents, especially any level 2 or higher.
Make some bypass gates. So we don't have to make 8 jumps or whatever to get around it.
Close a few Jita gates to make it more of a dead end system.

If its bad, don't go there. Your have to be pretty special to try and go there knowing its the most overpopulated system in the game and then whine about the problems caused by that overpopulation.

If I am not mistaken, a solar system (ie Jita) cannot be split across multiple node, but a single node is capable of running several solar systems. The Devs have had Jita on it's own dedicated node for a long while now, so I don't think Jita is going to be getting better anytime soon. Hopefully the lagginess will cause people to spread out. 
The best advice any of us can give all you who did not know about Jita is to get away from it as soon as you can and then try to avoid the system as much as possible. There are plenty of other systems out there with good markets, don't be afraid to shop around a bit.

nope it's not the server in the first place that causes this chaos - it's the people who think Jita is the place to go to buy all the shiney new stuff.
and as someone who has SMASH on -10 i have to say: pham is spot on
