Edited by: Dirus on 15/11/2003 02:10:12 I was bored today and decided to write a guide with tips on how to do good indy hunting in a Blackbird.
This guide works well, as many dead haulers would verify this
Here is the link to the Guide.

Nice guide - It still amazes me how many people dont think to have local pulled out into its own window so they can see people entering the system.
Blackbird is great little ship - its manouverability actually makes it "fun" to fly and it packs a nice punch with missiles nowadays... always feels awkward changing out of a blackbird into a battleship again...feels like going down a level of ship rather than up... t o o s l o w

Edited by: Ana Khouri on 15/11/2003 04:15:37 It's getting wasted by drones soo fast, though. With the scorp I just ingore them till the other ship makes *boom*.
Oh, and nice guide ;)

Nice guide, now I'll know for next time I jump into a system with my indi.
One thing, the BB has trouble with drones. I suggest a sensor damper or other sensor scrambler. It's really annoying when your in combat with someone who, not only has you scrambled from warping, but also has your targeting range cut down(I know this from experience. And, with the speed and agility of the BB, you can keep the distance so the enemy can never target.
Enjoy the hunt

0.0 will be indeed dangerous once they can scan the system for your midspaces.
Still fix is the place to be if your after newbs ------------------------
