I havn't gotten a chance to play eve after the patch yet and was wondering if you can use tractor beams on wrecks or if tractor beams are useless now.
I would guess that you can but want to make sure.

Yes you can still use it...but as you may read in other threads then the problem starts...

Tractor beams work on wrecks. However, they don't pop when you loot them and the renaming system doesn't work for them. So you basically have to pop them yourself once you are done looting them in order to not be confused about what was looted and what wasn't. Unless of course you have salvaging, which does cause them to pop, but can only be done once the loot is taken out.

aye CCP are working on a fix. Once peeps get their salvaging skills up or find a ogod use for their drones things will improve

yea, i was confused by that too. and really ****ed that the wreck is like that, i got confused just by ratting in 0.6. i pop 2 angel thug, but i losted the wreck, i couldn't even tell which one was mine cuz there were like 50 wrecks around already.

If you tick the 'corporation' display on in the overview it will show what items belong to what corporations by id tag.
