I'm not convinced that warp to 0 is an ideal answer, but I am thrilled at any solution that reduces lag. And I'm GLAD to help - for a chance to be part of the solution and not the problem - by deleting my instas!
Celebrate with me - Delete your instas! Set yourself (and the database) free! Shed not a tear, for banishing lag is always a good thing!

Yeah, yeah, I kept meaning to, but I never got around to it.
Plus, I have to admit, I was a little skeered about it at first. Then I heard the whole "When you log in, the new client will delete all your bookmarks that are within 20k of a celestial object", and I figured I'd let CCP do it. That didn't end up panning out...
So, now that the ball is in my court, I'm trying to do my part =).

Forgive some of us for
a)not entirely trusting the devs
b)reading it would be done automatically
c) being away from computer and unable to login to do it
d) forgetful
e) any other response people feel like
Also, I think automatic deleting is still needed to purge them off all the inactive accounts, lapses trials, shuttles full of them in POS ect.
That city is well fortified which has a wall of men instead of brick.

Since Warp to zero is inconsistent at best you might want to hang onto those instas. Particularly when "0" means "10km away" as I encountered several times last night. :)

will not delete mine for at least 2 weeks. they screwed something up i know it so time will tell. it might just take that long for them to fix client and let me in

Can anyone tell me how I delete my 10k+ bookmarks on my accounts? My P&P's are loading for the last 2 hours...

If only I could access my BM's I would happily delete them! Unfortunately, my PnP is not showing them, and neither is my right mouse click....

open p&p start at the top of your bm list, click, scroll to bottom, hold shift, click last BM, rightclick and hit 'remove location'
Watch the entire lord of the rings trilogy, should be done by the time you come back ;)

I have exactly the same problem.
And I had about 1k tactical bookmarks which make me feel naked when moving around...

When I open "Places" I have no bookmarks and I can't even see the "Add Foldera" and "Add Bookmarks" on the bottom. The bookmarks doesnt show when I right-click in space. So did CCP delete bookmarks on some accounts or what? My alt still have bookmarks.
Fix Warp to 0 (way to inaccurat atm) then those will be gone, but still doesnt explain why ALL bookmarks were removed from my account. Far from all were traveling bookmarks 
Oh yeah, thanks for the overview profile deletion as well *gnahh* thanks for the heads up. Other than that.. Revelation is looking good so far. Cheers CCP
