Can someone point me in the right direction for information on this please?
Tried using the eve-o search function but alll i found was some 6-month old blogs on how they might implement it.

Exploration is essentially using scan probes to find deadspace signatures. After your probes finish analyzing, you may find various deadspace signatures. Some of these deadspace signatures could be special locations such as gas clouds, or a hidden deadspace pocket. These locations, however, are only semi-permanent. After a certain amount of time, these locations will move.
What this means is that someone who becomes an explorer could sell bookmarks to various locations he has found that may be of interest. Because the locations move every once inawhile, explorers will always be in demand.

just the info i was looking for.
Can you scan for these using the new probes?
Or do i have to use my 3 Au scan probe =(

I'm not certain, but I believe you need to use the new super strenght probes (500-2000 sensor strength) to find the new deadspace signatures.

Searched for about 4 hours in a few systems, not found anything.
Moving regions atm, but I'd love to know if anyone has found anything (even a yes or no would be enough - just so I know its working.)

As far as I can tell you need to use the new probes, which have a range of 4 AU, so I think its a question of jumping to objects in space and drop a probe and hope for the best, but I havent spend a lot of time on it yet.

Yes its working. Had to use a 4AU, then a 1AU to find it and yes it was worth it.
