Every 20 minutes or so, EvE disconnects me completely and i have to restart from the login page. This seems to happen whenever i do an action that i've never done before, such as 'open the science/industry' in the station, or simply check my eve mail and update my skills at the same time.
is there any way to fix this? the only other time it has happened to me was on Neverwinter Nights (trustinginthefuture.com/3towns) and it was easily fixed with an animation pack.
this is the only thing that is holding me back from buying the game, other than that - AWESOME JOB W/ EVE!!! It's freaking amazing, like everything ive ever wanted (except connection issues) in an MMO all wrapped up and ready to go.

Bump - this has happened 7 times since i last posted. every time i buy something i must relog.... any help on this?

I had this problem also.
I think it has a lot to do with the system being taxed as it hasn't happened to me today. Remember there are still a lot of people that are DLing the patch.
If it's a deep bug then this I bet it will be adressed in Tuesdays Patch.

after some testing, it's not the computers fault, my high graphix computer runs it the same as my low and it actually crashes more often... I've gotten around 4 friends to download the trial but they all get the same problem, every few minutes there will be a random logout. note - this only happens during the day in eastern standard time. at around 11:00 est (4:00 gmt?) it starts to stabalize....

Ive been playing this game for almost a year now, and I started to have this problem about a week and a half ago. Its really anoying when in the middle of a battle.
At first I thought I was haveing a connection issue, but my other internet apps would not lose any connections. And then I setup a simple ping to log batch file and ran it while playing Eve. No disruptions of internet service occured during the those times of Eve Server disconnects. A few of my game buddies have been experiencing this too. Not sure is CCP is truly aware there is a problem here.

I am having issues jumping in and out Jita. I just get thrown to desktop.
This also happens to me after leaving stations.
Doesnt not happen anywhere else
