Message: Greetings to the Eve Cluster. The OEC is authorizing a recruitment order to be executed beginning 30-NOV-06 and lasting until we fill 20 member slots. The OEC was originally an Amarr based RP Mercenary Corporation dedicated in bringing success to our clients. Our initial charter was formed 6 years ago in 01-JUN0-00 (EY 102) on the Aeon Class mothership Octavian as a Phoenix Class fighter squadron. We have since retired our fighters for warships and moved into Mercenary services for Eve at large, and allow all races to join us. Currently there are many openings for all sorts of roles within the OEC, as we are running a skeleton crew of around 12 active members. We wish to bolster this to a maximum of 50 total before opening recruitment again. What we require:
No Whiners: We are a PVP corporation (with an industrial component) that operates in both Empire and 0.0 space. Whining leads to frustration, frustration leads to anger, anger leads to...well you get the idea. If you cannot bear the fact you might lose your shiney new Apoc, don't apply.
Mildly RP Based: Note, you do not have to be a hardcore RP player, but you must accept the ideals of getting "In Character" when dealing with others outside our corporation. We are mainly Amarr membership, but we do accept members from other races on occasion. Please contact us if you are not sure about the "RP Lite" requirement but still wishing to join a viable Merc corporation. RP wise, we are a morally "grey" corporation...seeing neither good nor evil, just profit. Some of our best contacts are both pirates and carebears.
Moderate Skillpoints: We are looking for new members that know the basics of the Eve universe between 2 million SP to maximum of 8 million SP. Why a maximum? It is in our experience that high SP recruits seem to not like to follow orders or do things the "OEC Way". We are looking for fresh recruits with open minds on how to operate a professional mercenary corporation. If you have a high skillpoint character and still wish to join, please contact Karash Amerius directly to discuss the option.
Voice Communications: The OEC operates exclusively on voice comms. If you are unable to "mic up" then do not apply.
Timezones (EU and US): We are mainly a US based corporation. However, we are dedicating a separate military division to the EU command (Gamma Command). If you are interested in helping build this from the ground up, contact us.
If you are interested in the Merc way of life (its very hard btw), and wanting to join a group of mature individuals that are goal oriented and just foolhardy enough to roll the dice on some great PVP challenges, give us a serious look. We have not recruited since rejoining Eve back in September of 2005 (EY 107), with a small drive back in March. Although some might remember us from Beta and early retail, we have been mainly inactive until a year ago. New blood is the glue of any organization, and we hope to hear from those that have the dedication to truly become a member of our esteemed cadre. We have had a few evemails, but no recruits yet.
We also will probably try out the new CCP solution for voice comms, but we use TS currently.

We primarily base in the south regions...but we have a strategy plan in place so that we could be in any contract area within 48 hours.
