Ive lost count today the ammount of bships ive destroyed in level 4 missions which when the wreck was openeddidnt contain anything... Come on ccp u expect a 16/20 slot bship not to drop a single item when destroyed..

same. did guris extrav last night. theres what... ~20-25 battleships throughout the entire mission excluding bonus stage. same drop rate as you.. out of all those maybe 4 or 5 of these new wreck containers had something. id sit at the wreckage for a minute or two to make sure it wasnt lag. no lag and little loot.

Hehe. I predicted this...they've compensated for introducing "extra" items (salvage) by nerfing the loot tables again. Of course, salvaging a whole mission will take you at least an hour longer than it used to just looting it, but CCP don't seem to care about that.
Wrecks...a good idea that is (currently) badly implemented. ---
I don't mind you disagreeing with me. Just don't say I don't have the SKILLS to comment until you've looked at them. |

Not one bs sized module looted since Revelations. Even the rogue drone BS only dropped lowend innards - if anything at all. --*=*=*--
The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing. by Sharkbait | 2006.09.20 |

I tried to loot every ship in a l3 mission yesterday and id say about 20% of the ships contained loot, and nothing good, not to mention I had to manual unlock and manual turn of the tractor beam etc. Missions not as profitable now I guess. I kind of gave up checking for loot becuase the time/vs reward doesnt seem to be there anymore. |

I stopped looting lvl 4 Missions except for the Mission Loot of course. It's wasting too much time IMHO. After Mission-Completion i return to my agent and get the next mission...

I got some BS modules the day after the release. I usually sell the ones I can't use, but the day of the patch, the right-click sell this item menu was gone. Its back now. Wish I would have checked before I recycled them.

While they all have total crap drop rates now, some drop worse then others. I can expect 3 times out of 4 an angel bs will drop a 10MN mwd, and maybe some ammo. Its almost not worth the time to travel to the cans anymore, there is hardly any loot. I would prefer them to go back to dropping crappy loot(too small mods and civ stuff) over no loot. ________________________________________ <("<) <('')> (>")>

I suspect that the loot drop rate is the same... however not all ships (Battleships included) used to drop a can. NOW... all ships become wrecks when destroyed... even the ones that used to not give out a loot can...

I expect thats it exactly, I used to wonder why on some missions/levels there were hardly any cans.

iTs absoloutley the same as it was before, but now you have to sift through 10s-20s of empty ones. Thats why you are thinking like this.
Before no loot - no can Now no loot - annoying but tantalising wreck.

Edited by: Issalzul on 03/12/2006 09:05:25 Loot's been reduced a bit at my end, but nothing shocking or earth-shattering. At least from what I can tell. I seem to remember angel BS not dropping cans most of the time anyway in my runs.
EDIT! Reduced by about 100-200m3, at least now I can fit it all in one trip instead of having to go back for a looter.
