I'm puzzled a bit with the fleetsystem and the leadershipbonusses.
As far as I figured, from the devblog, it was supposed to work top down from the commanders (fleet commander, wing commander, squad commander), where the biggest bonus applied.
If I'm in a fleet as wing commander, my leadershipbonusses do not affect the squads in my wing. Only when I'm squad commander, my squad gets the bonus. I have both leadership and wing command skills.
So, is this working as intended ?

What I have found is that you need squadron command, (wharever its name is) to give squadron bonuses, wing command for wing skills to be given out. Not sure if that is intended.

I've got Wing Command level 1, so should work that way, but sadly doesnt :(
Leadership allows for squadroncommand, and when Im squadroncommander, my bonusses work fine for the squad

Do you have enough skill to be wing commander over that many squadrons? (ignoring the fact that you were put in the position, which apparently doesn't check for skills)

Just 1 squad in the wing, so that should do it

I got the green light saying I was receiving bonuses (from myself as wing commander) even though I didn't have the wing command skill at the time. I had one squadron below me, but he was in a different system and he only had himself in as leader.
It all seems quite broken atm, we're going to test again later when we can get a lot of us together and we have a few people with wing command. Glad to see some other peple have noticed this is odd.

I should have read it better :)
"Commanders can only give gang bonuses and receive their own bonuses but can not receive bonuses from other commanders or normal members"
Works as intended
