They have taken away the megapulse They have taken away our great asset of damage module stacking They have taken away our damage in general They have taken us down to the gutter of the races and distributed high natural resists to our 2 dimensional damage output They have nailed the final insult in our coffin by throwing out a completely useless tier3 bs which has no role, no capicator, and can at best be a ugly duckiling tanker somewhere in the back. its time to take back the pride for the Amarr. its time to fkn let them fkn ****heads know this is absurd. protest. jita. shuttles. this weekend. lets bring it down. they have asked for it.

I can see where the Op is coming from ive been flying Amarr ships almost from the start ask anyone who knows me (if you can find someone who knows me :). Yes they have messed up the Amarr ships but its nothing a small change wont fix. And to fix them all it would only take better recharge times for there cap. Now onto your idea of going to Jita in protest ohhhhhhhhh hell no. And you call yourself Amarr pffff Jita has the best server tank in the game and you should know that. Pick a system that is a smaller hub in Amarr space and maybe then youll get some people to show up.
Losten79	Posted - 2006.11.30 01:31:00 - [20] Just did a mission now...And i got surprised how little dmg i did compared to before th patch I normally had a wrecking at 1500-1600 (about 1800 with T2 crystals) with T2 tachs, and now it's lousy 1157 This really suck i must say...I thought caldari was the race to get nerfed now, not amarr AGAIN....Well i ain't whining, just very disappointed in this nerf...Makes me sad they destroyed Amarr like this To be or not to be!!! ERHM...I can only say i'm none!

This gives them a reasonable damage combo (matching the one good against shield and one good agaisnt armor combo of other turrets) and its somewhat sound in scientifc theory (what happens when you heat something way to fast, it explodes)

Large lasers are some of the most CPU intensive weapons in the game when put in comparison with the tiny CPU output of Amarr ships. We're the medium range race in a game dominated by short and long range combat We cannot fire our guns and tank at the same time We generally lack slots for cap injectors or do not have the CPU to spare Battleships can't fit a full rack of guns without dedicating 2 lowslots on fitting mods PG use on small lasers is obscene, anything over dual lights is not *****ble on any of our frigate class ships The race with the lowest sensor strength that has no chance of fitting ECCM, ever Total lack of variety and we get nothing for it in return Totally pants at PvE, especially mission running Amarr was kinda good back in 2003 when there was such a thing as deep space and no secure containers - when you went 30-40 jumps to go ratting and could only carry a little bit of ammo with no place to dock or restock. It has all gone downhill from there though.

Now remember that passive tanking uses no cap, except for the repairing bit. That leaves a lot of unused cap that you could then devote to your guns. So long as you aren't dumb enough to try squeezing eight tachyons onto the thing, you should be fine. Nice to have a tank ofc but even better to be able to shoot back :(

Stop being a toolbag and learn to fit out a ship, this thing has a rock hard tank and the capacitor is not an issue at all if you think at least slightly outside the box. yes, like i said in the beginning it can be the tanker in the back, and even still it will rely heavily upon cap booster and nos if we are talking tanking, i got one word for u Apocalypse. now, wait a minute, that thing has been around for years. did we need another one? did we want another one? a amarr bs with no capicator bonus for lasers is as stupid as it gets. this ship will only be used for 1 thing, and that is nos, tank, no weapons stuff. it will then presumably get rigged and rerigged for cap and more cap, maybe then someone will use it. but i think the whole rigging process may jsut be a little too big of a deal to waste it on cap.. hence no one will deem it worty, and just use apocalypse. so yes. useless bag of dirt it is.

Even if you fit 2 t2 cap rechargers and 2 cap relays. It wouldnt matter if we got a 10% bonus per lvl to resistances. You cant even run your guns full time with the cap on this boat if you even occasionally run a repper. My original plan was to buy 2 of these bpo's, one to research and the other to produce on to take advantage of the initial demand. After field testing i settled on not buying any, in fact i doubt ill ever even buy one of these ships unless i end up training up projectiles and fit them instead.
