No, but I played on:

a. ViewSonic N2700w (27" LCD Wide TV/Display). 1280 x720. It rocked. OMG it did.

b. Dell 15.4" 1600x 1084 Wide LCD. Cool, but small text.

c. ViewSonic VP191 19.1" LCD. 1280x1024. My "Bread and Butter".. Not too shabby.

From my experience EVE seems to work well with 'non-standard' resolutions... but you have to go in the EVE config file to manually set.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will be forced to make that purchase when the new apple monitors are released in the next few months. Either of for the 30inch if I have won the lottery or the 23inch if the prices have come down.

On the 27inch, does the picture stretch or fit correctly?

27": I set EVE to the panel's native resolution, 1280 x 720. You can do this in the cache/prefs.ini file.

If I didn't do this, and run EVE at one of the 'standard' resolutions (i.e. 1024 x 768), the monitor gives the option of stretching, or displaying in 4x3 aspect ratio.

EVE actually handles "NON-standard" resolutions, very, very well.

Can anyone help...

I have a 20" lcd 1600x1200. With my FX5900 I could edit the prefs and run at 1600 x 1024 so I could do other tasks at the same time. FX died so now have a 9800 but can no longer run at this res. (I shrinks to 320x200). Is this a client patch change or card compatibility issue?

Thanks in advance
Mik

Yes, I 'am and its great ! 1920x1200 works like a charm. I'd use to use a PC with agp ATI1600pro. I now use a Mac Pro with nvidia 7300, both setups work great.
