Mark Hamill	Posted - 2006.11.30 05:25:00 - [1] First, there are at least 3 threads for this... consolidate. Second, for those who can't get in, and I can only get in with my alt . I can tell you right now the database is FUBAR. Most people who are online can't even pull up anything from the market right now. I know this is affecting Domain region, maybe others.

That character was in Rens so it looks like Eve is still up, just not those of us caught in this error. UPDATE: E != A, Also did anyone else have some issues with the market before this happened?

Tauran The Collective Against ALL Authorities	Posted - 2006.11.30 05:39:00 - [6] I cannot log on with my main chars as well. I can get in without a problem if I use one of my alts though. I just hang on the "entering game as Tauran..." screen. I was having a problem with the market and trying to "show info" on players when I was ingame, so I logged out and haven't been back since. My skill completed training 30 minutes ago!!!!

Elendrana	Posted - 2006.11.30 05:54:00 - [12] I have three accounts (main, alt, and skill training for a friend's account during bootcamp) all of the charachters are in the geminate region in space, and all of them hang on login. Just before I logged off, my ship maintenance array wasn't working. Nothing popped up when i right clicked on my ships :(. Also, my skill training on two of the charachters has finished, so i'm loosing skillpoints now. Help. please?

Technically my overview was in space, yet I could not right click anything. It must have frozen during the docking process. So my char is stuck somewhere in limbo. *UPDATE* Login Bar is Gone. "Entering Station". It looks like this problem may eventually end sometime soon. "Welcome to EVE, where inflation is out of control."

Trollin	Posted - 2006.11.30 06:29:00 - [19] my main hangs at this screen for between 20 and 30 minutes whenever I try to login. usually I turn the volume up, alt-tab, and troll the forums until I start hearing game sounds, then alt-tab back and play until the next time my client crashes.

First, while playing some windows would lock up - they wouldn't fully populate with data, & the market didn't work either. These windows were also unkillable... After relogging, then I discovered I couldn't log in. Per a GM suggestion, deleting my EVE cache directory did NOT fix the problem. (I wouldn't waste your time trying to delete your cache directory.) I thought it was related to accidentally trying to view a petition before I was fully logged in. But if others are hitting the same problem...

I went one jump to a station, finished up a production run and placed the items on the market. Yep, market worked fine. Tried to undock and now I'm staring at a black screen with station 'voices' coming from my speakers. And yes, cleared the cache earlier with no effect.

I was having problems accessing ships, right-click menus and even sending out gang invites so I restarted my machine and ran EVE again. Tried to load my main in but was instead greeted by a full bar and no change in my GUI for 5 minutes or so. I Decided to check on an alt character and it appeared to work, with some lag. Petitioned, was told to delete the chace folder, still faced the same problems, and then was told it could possibly be my audio or graphics when both were working properly as was the currently logged in alt. I decided to just give up after the character info windows wouldn't load and the right-click menus screwed up again.

After 15 minutes of sitting at the "Entering as..." dialog, I'm seeing "Setup Station: Abudban X - ...". This gives me hope that the database isn't corrupted, but simply infinitely bogged down. That's probably more fixable. Heck, simply rebooting the servers might hide the problem for a few more hours, until devs can fix it (unless they don't understand the problem yet).

This in addition to my problems supposedly related to my dual core processor are really turning me off to eve. I hope these serious bugs are fixed soon. I have a feeling there are many many more cases of all of these problems with people who do not post about it.

Kasumi Kreig Caldari United Systems Navy	Posted - 2006.11.30 08:20:00 - [28] Just confirming that we have no workaround: Someone mentioned that this problem might be caused by the new screenshot code in EVE, and that deleting your Capture folder might fix it. I did take a screenshot today right around when my char got permanently messed up, so this didn't sound completely insane. I tried this, and it did NOT fix the issue.

I use the same exact client to run them both. My alt can log in, my main cannot. About 45 mins ago, my main got in for a brief time then got a BSOD undocking. Relogged my main, got in, went to another station, docked, got disconnected. Now, again, my main cannot log back in but my alt can.

I'm currently in Balginia. i have another account that has been hung for about 30 minutes, before I logged and tried again. Now I'm hung again at the same Entering Station Message. But this one is in K-QWHE. I have tried my alts in each the accounts and they all log on with no issue. Is there a work around? Anyone know?
