I heard that the skill requirement will be reduced to Survey 4, not 5.
Any truth to this?

Yes - from what i heard from corp mates this is getting fixed in a small patch next tuesday.

lol good il be trained to survey lvl 5 2 days b4 that lol. as for the comment of you wasting ur time for that skill. imho given enough time ccp is bound to find something that will req survey lvl 5 lol.

I to would like some official confirmation of this, anyone assist?, cos I am currently trg to survey lvl 5 and would prefer to know now so i can stop and train something else.

Patch Notes indicate the requirement will be lowered to Mechanic 3 and Survey 3. I heard this patch is expected to be deployed tuesday.

Oh and by the way, you cannot tractor a wreck not belonging to you or your corp. so salvaging is even slower if your a belt salvager.
CCP please change to allow tractor of all wrecks.

Read the patch notes and see, the requirements will be lowered to level 3. Both, Mechanic and Survey. I appreciate the lowering on Survey, got level III already and Mechanic V just finished today :>
Level IV would have done just fine also.
