Edited by: Civil Deity on 16/11/2003 04:05:47 Today was a good day for the SA. I normally try not to instigate spamming or flamming or any of that but I feel the eve community has a right to know what transpired in stain today. So I would like to share the tale. It is all true, of course from the viewpoint of the SA.
Everlasting Vendetta has been planning to hold our biggest event to date for about 2 weeks now that was schedualed to start this morning. Unfortunately we had a rogue member who knew about the event join the CA about 4 days ago. We assume he told them of the event and our own intelligence brought forth information that the CA was going to try and bust it up. So the stain alliance baned together and formulated a plan to prevent the CA from stopping the EV event.
Dawn broke and the day began. The battlefield was set. The first challenge was getting the massive train of people from empire down into stain for the event. Fortunately we were able to get through catch before CA mobilized, however EV's military wing (Falcon Wing) purposely waited in HED even after the train was well on their way down.
Falcon wing was given the order to begin to head into stain and immedately before they could get down there they were cut off and stalemate #1 transpired. No losses on either side.
Next while CA and falcon wing were having a stand off the rest of the SA military formed up our fortified position at our front door, which we held for the entire day.
There were minor skirmishes from those who got down into deep stain the night before which claimed 3 CA b-ships, there was also 1 CA scorp that forgot to turn his auto pilot off and was quickly dispatched as he hit the gate to the SA fort. One battleship was reported lost on SA side while trying to re-enforce the gate.
So ultimately nothing major happened on a military side, but that wasn't the goal of the day. The goal of the day was to protect the region, where EV is pleased to announce 50 miners and 15 military personnel, making over 750 million isk and holding the fort (with SA) for well over 11 hours. For EV's best single mining day to date.
Finally the CA retreated and we received an unconfirmed report that the FA had entered curse from the north and CA had to return home to protect their own miners.
Have a nice day Eve.. wish I had that picture that said "buckle up this thread is gonna get ugly" cause it undoubtably will, but who cares its a game we had a fun day and we wanted to share our success with the community Civil Deity

The Curse Coalition does not make it a habit of posting either our losses or enemy kills but tonight I will make an exception.
We noticed large formations of ships near the entrance to Curse and many ships in Stain this evening. The CC assumed SA and CA engaged again. We took advantage of the fact the majority of the CA fleet was bottled up near the entrance to Curse.
During our patrols the Curse Coalition de-pirating operations succeeded in destroying one pirate Scorpion flown by Shamen and one Dominix flown by Das Va. This brings the number of CA battleships lost to CC efforts to five in and around curse over the last week.
A few CA industrial ships and cruisers where damaged and one noob CA scout was killed. Two other CA battleships took light shield damage and fled from CC forces before they could be destroyed. Two CA mining ops where shut down and a good deal of uncollected CA ore was destroyed before the Curse Alliance of Pirates could collect the materials for their war effort.
The Curse Coalitions looses for the day consisted of one Kestrel destroyed, one Black Bird seriously damaged and several battleships sustained light shield damage.
All in all I'd say the Curse Coalition had a very good day. Actually we had a great day considering that according to the Curse Alliance of Pirates the CC is not even in Curse and on the rare occasion we do enter Curse we only fight industrial ships and run from battleships.
The CC has received unconfirmed reports from the GWP that indicate they have destroyed several Curse Alliance of pirates industrial ships over the last few days.
The CC applauds the SA success today and looks forward to the day our regions are pirate free and once again safe and peaceful.

SA forces also relieved him from a Scorpion today.
Considering that some weeks ago was another time when we relieved him of 2 Scorpions in 2 days, I'd guess he's using 100% insurance on his ships...
Sorry about making fun of individuals... but it was pretty funny for us

Fetty, that has to be the funniest way of asking what happened to the flames I've seen in a while, especially the nukelur remark.
All in all it's been an interesting day.

Ouch, looks like he lost two battleships in one day. I guess when you choose to ally with pirates the price can be quite high.
This does not bring the CC any pleasure. We want a peacefull and pirate free Curse. The Curse Alliance can end all this senseless killing at any time by ejecting the pirates and pirate corps from their alliance and making peace with their neighbors and the CC.

I've no interested in the vapid, childish flaming which runs rampant in these forums. Like many of you, I have been playing since Beta and it's quite obvious that the operation Everlasting Vendetta pulled off yesterday was an excellent example of what a mega corp can do in EVE.
There are many ways to make the game fun and promote morale within your corp. and I am proud to have been a part of what I believe was a ground breaking event in EVE.
Look for more from EV, friends and enemies, as we are going to continue to push the limits, explore new ventures and strive to keep the game interesting and fun for all our members. Hopefully many of you will do the same and push the game internally as the Devs work to build more content.
Cheers to Everlasting Vendetta!

I just love ppl like what. Can't look at teh dynamics of the game and consider what it takes to pull off an operation of this magnatude. But then again he is also the kind of person that talks big here but runs and hides in station everytime Falcon wing and SA forces take over CA's home systems in Curse. Or is it empire? hehe either way, it must be nice to know your such a big man of many inept words on a text based website, because you obviously have no balls to show your toughness in the game in space.
Feel free to flame away as you always do since this is the only place you actually feel you have any power. Oh and have a nice day

Ehh, did you read the post? It was not about the stalement between our forces, but about that EV was running a mining op yielding minerals worth 750+ million isk, which most likely by far is the biggest mining op to date done by one corp.

I highly doubt it. Lots of corps that do that everday without having to make a post about it. This beginning to become comical.

Was there any rainbow insignias brandished?
What I seriously don't get is why people in alliances with closed down regions are doing in empire space to begin with?

I notice you say 'lots' of corporations have done 'that' 'every day' What, but I also notice you neglect to give any corporation names. Could this be because you are just blowing smoke? I certainly believe that to be the case. Others?

What is a Troll, he needs to troll SA forum posts to make up for some sort of inadequacy, maybe its in game or out of game, who knows.
I can guarantee you what's response to anything in this thread will be typical childish banter.
Taken from the May 29th 2003 Devchat at EveGate . <Muaddid> Q: When will sentry gun and station and similar construction pods be introduced on the market? <Hellmar> we have various player owned entities already implemented. Sentry guns, power/shield generators, field repair mini-stations, mobile refineries. We are still working out the last tidbits of how they can be over taken, what is the penalty of having a sentry gun kill a n00b etc. and we have been a bit busy with plugging the holes that people have found.I would say that you'd start to see these items on the market in about 2-3 weeks, very expensive to begin with |

Edited by: Mandilater on 16/11/2003 20:25:09 Trust that if any rainbows were brandished, they were proudly painted on the side of CA ships. Which brings me to my next comment. CA is uber ***, not only with the way they present themselves but in the childish BS they post in the forums.
