TheLegion	Posted - 2006.11.30 21:33:00 - [7] I've always done lvl 4's solo in my raven, just want to be perfectly clear on the chances of survival in lvl 4's solo with a rokh. In a Raven, I never was scared of losing my ship. In a rokh, I'm very sketchy since if I have nothing but large rails, and so many frigates warp scramble, I could get myself into a nasty situation. Perhaps add alot of tracking enhancers to my set up?

For large guns to hit all frigs I've found good tracking and a couple of webbers works. Over 10km the tracking is important, under 10km dual webs brings anything to a virtual halt. Target painters help a bit too. Unfortunately this doesn't favour shield tanking ships.
deshan Gallente The Mighty All Blacks	Posted - 2006.11.30 22:07:00 - [16] Edited by: deshan on 30/11/2006 22:07:22 well we sould have a better chance now with guns because npc's seems to have been nerfed(frigs at least). this is from the patch notes: All NPCs located in mission deadspace have afterburners now instead of a microwarpdrive. http://myeve.eve-online.com/updates/patchnotes.asp?sid=812038943 (under the Non Player Characters section) This should greatly improve the damage inflicted from guns because of the extended time in which we hae to kill them. (keep in mind i hav'nt tested this yet.... only read it on the patch notes)

You cant just use your main weapon and expect to be able to kill every type of NPC with a Rokh like you can with a raven. You gotta use some drones or get some friends. However ... if you don't have a fit for two webs then these super fast ones are usually weedy so if we're talking large guns we're also talking at least 25m3 drone bay (I'm pretty sure), so carry 5 light drones to take them out. To answer another poster, I think the deadspace rats only used to MWD when approaching you, not while orbiting. IF not, then how could the rokh ever be a lvl 4 mission runner? rokh is a crappy ship to mission solo you can keep hitting em if u fit 3x tracking computers and some thing else (traget painter mybe) then u can hit 425 rails from 70 kms to pertty much 2 kms if the target is comeing at u in a straight line :P (worked on test :P)
