Guys,
Dont know about you but i'm actual liking the many new features and updates in the Revelations patch except..
You can not bid or buy any items in other regions using contracts !! I used this quite alot in escrow and it has been taken away :(
I mean ccp did a very good job in adding the search option and making it less cheatable but having no option to buy in regions which you are not in kinda spoils all fun. I vote for this functionality to return. |

The new contracts system sucks bigtime, lets see, no sort by price function (high to low) as far as I can see, no alphabetical sort, very slow to use due to page system, it took about 5 mins max to scan all sale orders of anything in all eve with old system, this is impossible with this system as it is region based, would take you all day to check all regions. The way I see this going is players will not use it as much as it is just not as useful or effective due to the smaller markets, or it will create even more clumping of orders in a few regions as everyone knows it is a waste of time posting orders if it is not in a hub system ragion ie jita etc.
All that was needed for a new system was the info we have now which is much better but under the old escrow layout, that was fast and easy to use, this I am afraid is cumbersome at best, sorry CCP I think you have got it wrong with this.

Price sorting NEEDS to come back. You NEED to be able to search AND buy from multiple regions at once. I understand, for bandwidth and server resource reasons, if CCP CAN'T make you able to search ALL regions at once. But, this single region at a time thing is a joke. I mean, do the devs REALLY think this is going to solve anything? ALL it is going to do is FURTHER concentrate commerse in already busy commerce hubs like Jita, Rens, and others. The players are SMART (most of them). Hasn't CCP figured out that we will MAKE our own conveniences if the devs don't GIVE them to us? 
On the bright side however, I do LOVE the search by keywords feature. That is REALLY nice. Fix the other areas that are SERIOUSLY lacking and we may FINALLY have a viable in-game auction forum after over 3 years of development.

I liked the old Escrow-System. Now it is useless for me. The worst change of all patches and upgrades i have seen in Eve.
It would be better to add a search functionality to the old Escrow-System.
The BPC-Trader won't like it.

Seriously guys, get a clue. The old escrow system was a flaming pile of dog poo. So you can't search the entire universe at once, you can at least search a specific region ( even one you are not in ) for the exact item you are looking for instead of having to eyeball a list of a million unrelated items and scams, and then only the most recently posted 1000 items in the entire universe, which meant escrows newer than 24 hours or so.
Oh, and you can now escrow cans. Not only that, but the contract actually lists the contents of the can. And you can split a stack remotely to escrow part of it.
The only thing that even slightly annoys me about the new system is that you can't sort by price, but if the item is that common it should be on the market anyhow, not on auction.
