I'm just wondering on a pvp standpoint which i should go first.
I plan on being a professional tackler / Guerilla fighter. the enyo looks really appealing. but i remember back in the day before i left the inty being the ultimate tackler.
i will train both eventually. im just looking for a little outside advice.

Edited by: MyOwnSling on 30/11/2006 22:56:17 Well, if you want to tackle, go with an inty. If you want to fight more, go with an AF. An ishkur makes a decent tackler that can throw out a good amount of damage. The enyo makes a poor tackler because it only has 2 mid slots. The taranis does a lot of damage for an inty and can tackle quite well.
So, if you want something that kinda does a bit of both, the ishkur and taranis are both good. ------------- Stop whining. |

If you're flying gallente, I would suggest taking AF if you have good drone skills (ishkur), or inty if you have good turret skills (taranis). ----

Vampire Ishkur if you've got a small gang going with lots of firepower.

I have very good drone skills and gunnery skills. Ishkur is a nice ship for frig 1v1 evn for frig v cruiser.
However, for pvp i always end up flying the ranis. You get more kills, you are rly much more helpfull for your gang and you survive more. I suppose in a frig gang and if u have other tacklers you could use enyo or ishkur, but still....

There really isn't a reason to train for AFs except for fun and speed (on some). The rest a cruiser can do much better. Need something to kill other AFs? nos + web + drones + small guns on a Vexor (standard nosvexor fit I think) does that just fine. so does my modified duramaller, with small t2 lasers, a 1600mm plate, nos and a web.
Intys however, are nice ships. They can catch stuff that other ships can't, and make great tacklers. 400mm plated Claw ftw, but if you're gallente, get a Taranis. I can easily win over a taranis in a friendly duel, but a taranis' real tank lies in its structure. so a fight that isn't to the death isn't a fair one when talking about the taranis. fit a dcu.
Other than that...Jag ftw

Train both, skillwise ceptor 1st bec. u'll have nice navigation skills for all ships you fly.
Moneywise its fun to make ratting in 0.0 with AF, very profitable too.
Altough ceptors look not very skill intensive at first glance its very wrong. You'll need many skill groups to be good or great to be effective with one.
But with frig lvl 5 its mandatory to go for AF and ceptor at the same time from my point of view.
