Learn the Region names! It's easier than learning thousands of system names.
Speaking from personal opinion only:
The new contracts system is nice but you, sir, are completely missing the point. I liked seeing the system name listed for 1 reason: To AVOID Jita. I do not want to buy in Jita. I will not GO to Jita unless I absolutely have to. I have been known to pay up to 50% markups just to stay OUT of Jita. Allowing a GLOBAL search option would allow me to continue doing that. I would simply open escrow, pull a search, look at where things were and any system I didn't recognize a simple map 'set destination' would tell me how far and where the system was. As long as it wasn't 40 berjillion jumps and wasn't Jita I would probably go there to get what I wanted.
My personal pet peaves about the new contract system are limited to just this:
ALLOW A GLOBAL SEARCH! I do not WANT to have to search by region. I generally do that first but if I can't find something in my region the LAST thing I want to do is search every friggen region individually.

This does not help us to fix and find solutions for what is wrong.
Some of us are not able to make isk like we once were and want to. We provide a service to you and everyone else in eve and want to continue provideing the service of BPC's and other things players are wanting to get their hands on in a limited amount of time so we can do other things, like play the game. The new contracts is not only an isk sink but it is also a time sink where you spend hours upon hours looking though every region and is not sorted. Then you multiply that time sink times multple items that you are looking for. If you are luckey enough to find what you are looking for, you now have to fly to that region if it is an auction item and when you get there, it's gone. Or, you have to camp the region until the auction is closed. There are many issues, this is one of them.

I posted this in the other thread, but it got locked:
The only real issue I have with the contract system is that I can never find contracts issued to me, and I know I'm not the only one. So, a tip for those that make a lot of private contracts - evemail the contract link to the person. Not only does this get around the problem, but it also makes it real quick to track down that contract for the buyer.

The new contract system is fairly usable if you know exactly what you want to buy, and the item actually shows up as a valid search result.
Sadly, 90% of escrow sales were from people who were browsing the escrow listings in search of interesting things to buy, bargins, etc.
Those people try browsing the contract listings and quickly give up. My BPC sales are down 90%, and the sale of my snowball/snowball launcher sets has almost totally stopped.

That is exatly where I am at, I have no way of selling my bpc's. Further, with old escrow, I would post a Thanatos and it would be claimed within 15 minutes to 1 hour or so and at the most, a day. Now I have had one since the new contracts patch and can't seem to get rid of it. Somebody wants it as before but they can't find me and I can't find them. I have posted in forums, I have advertised in trade channels. I am not building any more or investing further until I have a means of selling my products.

so things need to be updated. We are STILL POST PATCH, which means there will be issues, things missing, etc. that will need to be fixed.
People need to stop being lazy and start learning names, and figuring out how to use the COntracts because it IS very efficient to use, and stops people from flooding Escrow with pointless scam Escrows, since the new system needs a Skill.
