Actually, I have been hearing more than a few people describe the same problem I ended up having. I had a V skill finish early on into the downtime, but training stopped after that, and the 1 skill I had queued up after that did not start again until I logged in. No idea why, but I've heard it from a few people so far.
The GM's are silent, of course.

3. CCP is preparing some compensation
All this info can be found in the threadnaught.
I sincerely hope that every account that made terrible threads like this will receive NO compensation at all, the same should apply for all the other ship tosters. |

My compensation has been to add each and every person demanding that CCP give them something for $.25 worth of downtime to my contacts list as terrible. Now they stand out in game as well as on the forums, making them a much larger target.

I like to time my subscription to lapse as I do something, like spend a night at a casino or watch a movie. Those three to twelve hours add up where CCP isn't getting my money. I do this just to show them that I control them and that they better not mess with me or I can just up and leave. I like to think of myself as a meta metagamer. |

People crying for compensation need to get a grip and get over it. If you lost sp then that's down to you because you can make skill queues as long as you want, CCP have already apologised for the downtime, and what people should be grateful about is that they worked their arses off to get the server back up and stayed during their own time to do so. CCP aren't obligated to give us anything for the duration of the downtime. Thank you CCP for getting Tranquility back up.

Does anyone remember when PSN went down an entire month?? that was worthy of compensation but 13 hours lol no.
I.M.O Game Company's should be given a maximum of 48 hours before compensation is required. |
