Ive been looking at my setup efter kali, and is very much in doubt if a domi relying on drones for damage only, can break the tank of BS with the new hp buff, or if 1v1 BS battle would just end in two ships shooting at each other would just stand tanking never dying.
My vamp domi only produces somthing like 300dps with current skills, not maxed though.
Is this the hp buff the end of 1v1 bs pvp?

Given that you can only sustain a tank if you have cap, there's no reason why the vampa-dom isn't still viable in 1v1 PVP...
In fact, I think if anything, NOS is even more important now than it was before - just look at how the Gallente blaster boats are suffering because they can't take ships down fast enough before cap issues hit...

Quite the contrary. The hp boost is in favor of the NOSDomi. Now you have a greater buffer getting to your target and NOSing him dry before he out DPS's your tank. ECM was nerfed... but what the hell put some ECM rigs in your NOSDomi and it was as if there was no nerf.

actually, you just put Dampeners on, so you force him into NOS range.
But that's just me

Dampeners had'nt thought of those, thanks for the tip.
I got this one all wrong i see. Thanks for answering. Its been a big help, and ill keep moving forward traning my vamp domi related skills : )

do you actually understand how the nos domi works? or were you so reliant on ecm before your floundering?
if you actually think about the setup 9please try) youll work out that nos domi is actually better than before, even without ecm.
You may also notice on 20 threads about nerfing nosferatu - wonder why that is?

why do ppl keep saying things like can i break his tank now with 'so and so'. resists have not been increased only hp. so if u could break his tank before u can break it now, just takes a bit longer. and yes as said before nos is even more important than it was before. the ecm nerf has put the domi back a few steps which is right. but using damps,tracking disruptors, twin webs, stuff like that still makes it one of if not the best solo bs.
