Im after a new ship after a month break...and both these ships are around 60mil each on market.
Which of these ships is best to do LVL 2-3 missions with ease? and wats a good possible setup?

Personally, i dont fly Amarr ships, but i would suggest the Armageddon for lvl3 missions.
Youll be able to tank it all pretty well, and will kill things easily. For lvl2 missions, just take a cruiser a or destroyer.
Harbingers are good ships overall, but they are VERY expensive atm. So unless you wanna spend ~100mil on a shiny new ship that hasnt yet been tested properly, and honestly not worth those money, you'd better still go with the Geddon.

My suggestion: Get a Prophecy now, and a Harbinger once the prices normalise.
The giant gold chickens are half-decent ships now.

My last ship was a prophecy which when i left i gave to my guildie and he got it blown up within days haha
was looking for something that could handle 2-3 without probs...maybe i had wrong setup on my prophecy

i use a prophecy for lvl 3s (had arbitrator for lvl 2s) and have no major problems except for the occasional mission like mordus headhunters and the like, and thats mostly because my tanking skills are still mediocre. i could have them good enough to laugh through any lvl 3s within two weeks.
about what ship to get (the way i would):
- Prophecy with its good resists for missions
- Harbinger for pvp
- Geddon for pvp and some lvl 4s

Harbinger prices are already down to 50m in Jita and still falling, so they're not too bad. They're much better against cruisers than an Armageddon, I would think.

Well Harbinger is really a fun ship, You gonna use it for lvl 2-3missions I would go for That and for solo pvp I think Harbinger is better of than the geddon, but I would still use the Geddon in pvp and for lvl 4 missions, But u Dont need a armageddon for lvl 2-3 missions..

Consider this, the hp of a tier 2 bc is about what a tier 1 is and the mission npc's are at the same hp....
So in essence, a bc should, in theory, be able to do all lvl 3's now.

After flying the Harbringer with a few experimental setups I have to conclude that its name is totally inappropriate.
It should be called the HardonBringer.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it.

considering im -5 atm, attempting to bring it down, im gonna wait for the market prices to get to 40mill. then i'll buy one..... im cheap

I was able to do ALL level 3 missions in my Prophecy (including Massive Attack and the Spy Tash) BEFORE this BC was upgraded by Revelations.
So it's just a pb of skills (I have about 11 millions SP).

Surely if you plan to NPC in it, you'd more than make up the 10mil isk difference if you purchased one now and got to NPCing..?

I was able to do all lvl 3s in the proph with about 5.5mill in combat and fitting related skills, with very rare warp-outs. Heavy pulses + heavy launcher, ab, web, cap recharger, mar, 3x active hardeners, 1x eanm, cap relay. Could have been faster with a dmg mod, but that would have meant warpout more often on the hard missions I think.

It has damage bonus listed in ship info. Probably changed to go along with abaddon change.

Now? I was doing *all* L3s in a BC without warping out with less than 3m SP six months ago... there's no "in theory" about it. BCs are even stronger/better now and the NPCs aren't...

Both the Prophecy and the Harbringer are excellent ships. I can speak for the Prophecy from personal experience and I fought a Harbringer the other night. It was doing very good damage despite my omni-tank.
