There have been a couple of threads that have addressed the lack of availability of these 2 books on the market as part of a larger discussion of the new skillsets. But does anybody have it on good authority that these books will be seeded into the market or if they will they remain escrow items and only available from COSMOS missions?

you will probably only be able to get them from hacking the cans in the complexes

you can not get them from the market they no longer even apear on the market. I use to sell them to resellers so I did not have to list more escrows. I have several amarr ones in Jita on auction contract atm. but they come from the various hacking sites. Most of the sites are not to bad to do but you generally need some corp member help or very good tanking skills.

I really don't understand all this. I tried looking for Amarrian Encryption methods on the contracts search in jita and it says that it is not a real item? as if they do not exist in the game atall! The mim and caldari ones show though
Do you even need that skill for anything, cus you are supposed to have needed the invention skill, but that doesn't exist either?
The more I root around the forums looking for answers the more confused I get 
I have never tried hacking, where the hell do I start with that if I have to do it?

The thing is, Minmatar and Amarr Encryption Methods currently do not show up in the search option in contracts ( even if there is such a contract in the region it still does not find it ) I suggest looking for amarr book in Domain, Tash-Murkon and especially Kador regions if there are none available in jite - yesterday i saw at least 2 books ranging from 175 to 250mill.
And while we are on the subject, i'd like to say that i really like the idea of these books ( and data interfaces ) only being available thru cosmos complexes or exploration, makes a good use of the hacking skill. |

Actually there was plenty amarr encryption books on contracts use the 3rd search option just type Encryption and choose the appropiate regions like The Forge and Domain ext |

Have a look in Deltole, that's the cosmos area where they are spawning.

The patch notes are causing a little confusion they are not seeding them they are adding them to the market listing. If you currently search for these encryption books on the market only the caldari one and minmitar one show up. To fix this the Amarr ones and Galante ones are being added to the listings to make them show up too.

Correct. What they are actually doing is fixing a bug that is more than a year old. When the gallente and amarr cosmos missions were added to the game some time ago, the devs forgot to add the market lists for serpentis and bloodraider encryption skills. When the devs released Revelations they only changed the name of the skills and forgot to add them to the market, which is going to be fixed in the upcoming patch.
