I have found two bugs in Contracts and reported them, however I am still wondering if these bugs are happening to everyone or if something is wrong with my client. If anyone could try it and confirm, I would be grateful.
1) Contracts won't let you search for "Improved" +5 attribute implants using Item Type field. If I try to search for Ocular Filter - Improved for example, I enter into Item Type field "Ocular" and it gives me list of found items - however "Ocular Filter - Improved" implant is missing. It is same for all other Improved implants. I guess this is a bug since faction items are searchable using this field.

2) Packaged mining barges can't be entered into Courier Contract, becouse system checks for their unpackaged size (200000m3) instead of packaged size (3750m3). On following screenshot I tried to move two Retrievers using new system, but it refused to create new Contract becouse of size - 400000m3. My barges were stacked and packaged, so their size was not 400000m3 but only 7500m3.

I have reported both bugs, but I am not 100% sure if these bugs arent somehow releated to my client only.

There's a number of things not included, such as T2 ammunition blueprints. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but frankly I'm almost past caring these days.

I made a thread about the missing items in general discussion: Linkage ___________________ Eve Wiki | dont forget |

Edited by: Robacz on 03/12/2006 14:11:44 Nice :). Hopefully it will get some attention.
@Securus, yes that is only way, most of ppl seem to continue with "+5 attribute" naming convention, so I was able to find most of +5s jsut by searching for "+5" in title. But of course if someone 100% trusts Contract system and enters implant without title, no one will ever find it, unless someone has time and patience to browse all contracts :/.
Btw I tried 2) with more ships, and its happening for all ships I tried - it takes their unpackaged size instead of packaged.

The new "contarcts" system is such a step backwards... this makes it harder to conduct commerse in eve rather then helping... seems like someone was up drinking too much when this scheme was penned out.

I hate the new contract system so much! I mostly sell stuff that people usually only buy while window shopping with escrow and so none of it has sold all week!
Anyway, here are 2 more contract bugs (these are for Item Exchange, havn't tested them with Auctions):
1) Accounting Skill doesn't really lower sales tax. On the "Finish" screen of the contract, it shows the correct sales tax with skill, but after someone buys the contract it charges you the amount without skill.
Example: I sell an item for 30mil with Accounting 3, I should pay 210k (0.7%) but after it sells it charges me 300k (1%).
2) Assuming that #1 was fixed, it would cost more to cancel a contract than to have an alt accept your contract if you have Accounting trained!
Explanation: If you cancel a contract, you lose Broker's Fee + Deposit (1%). If you have an alt accept your contract, you lose Broker's Fee + Sales Tax (0.5% - 0.9% based on skill) and you get the Deposit back.
IMO the Deposit is really stupid! We don't have to pay a Deposit for selling stuff on the Market! If you cancel something on the Market, all you lose is the small Broker's Fee...
I bug reported the first problem 3 days ago and it's still not on the Known Issues page. The 2nd thing I didn't report as it's not really a bug, just a really stupid feature.

If I'm not totally mistaken you also cannot search for faction ships. I failed on dropping an eye on "Dramiel" and "Daredevil", the two angel faction frigates *cluck* darn! :)
It just gives me no choice at the Item Type field ¼_¼
