As of right now, this is what I am doing in case I need a cyno where I dont have a cyno alt already:
1. Put Cyno module and fuel into Interceptor and fly to new station 2. Put Cyno and fuel into item hanger 3. Leave ship 4. Contract Interceptor to myself 5. Set station as home 6. Undock 7. Dock 8. Fit generated Rookie ship with cyno and light it 9. Cancel contract to get back interceptor
The game already offers a way to generate rookie ships in any station, but the process is rather tedious. I would appreciate it, if stations would offer a button to create a fresh rookie ship even if the ship hangar is already populated. The method above costs 100k for the contract, that could be the cost for using the new button (the existing mechanic of auto-generating a rookie ship if the hangar is empty can of course be kept to support new players).

Ive seen two reasonable requests today. what the hell is going on???
This is EVE we expect outrageous and unbalanced requests, now get back to work and produce something stupid and get back to us !!

And this way you don't create rookie ships when you don't want them. Sometimes I'll dock up in a station with no ship and don't want a rookie ship (I plan on buying one). It clutters up my inventory and every now and then I have to go through and clean out all those damn velators....
