What is the best amarr cruiser to mine with. I know amarr doesnt have the best to mine with but I dont want to train another race right now.

the omen is probably teh best, but the maller is also good. the omen has 4 turrets, but dronespace for 2 harvs and a basic, which will mine more than the extra turret on the maller.

Maller you can put five mining lasers and six cargo expanders.
But even factoring both, you can't beat the Omen.
The Omen has four mining lasers, but if you use 3 Harvesters, it beats five turrets. Even with six basic mining drones, you get the base equivalent of one Mining 2 laser from that (six basic mining drones has the same output as a mining laser 2 without any bonuses.)
With five cargo expanders, but with a much higher initial space, the Omen can store much more cargo. With the right expanders, I can get the Maller nearly up to 1000m3, but the Omen, I can get up to 1200 or more.
Then the Omen is cheaper and a much nicer looking ship.
If you really don't want to invest on drone skills or don't have them, then pick the Maller. but if you have the drone skills, take the Omen.

Actually if you do the figures the fastest miner is the arbitrator, followed by the omen followed by the maller.
Arb:
2x miner 2 and 9 harveys = 390 units pm
Omen:
4x miner 2 and 3 harveys = 330 units pm
(incidentally with 300 drone space a better setup would be using 6x advanced miner drones as they are 50 vol and mine 25 units pm = total 390 units pm. I've never seen any for sale though.)
Maller:
5x miner 2 = 300 units pm
All with base mining skills and assuming you have the skills to use 9 drones....

When I mined in my Omen I had two elite mining drones (same output as Harvies) and four advanced mining drones.
The output of this beats any Amarr cruiser easily except an arbitrator equiped with 10 harvies (and it takes a bloody long time to get the 10 drone skill)
The elite mining and advanced mining drones were very expensive tho at that time (roughly 1 mill each) when harvies were at 60k or so. I have not seen very many up for sale since I bought mine altho if anybody has some elites or advanced hanging around please let me know.
