Krumpit	Posted - 2006.12.03 01:04:00 - [14] Lazytown is a massive industry. I read a profile in the UK's The Guardian recently guardian.co.uk, of Magnus the guy who plays Sportacus. (Look it up yourself I can't be bothered) They have the most sophisticated motion-capture technology in the world in their studio in Iceland. Each episode of LazyTown cost 1 million dollars or something. The CGI / BlueScreen / motion-capture they do is way ahead of any Hollywood animation studio, Pixar, Dreamworks, whoever you care to name. The whole business has been built up over 10 years before they even made an episode of the programme, apparently. That's just what I can remember from the article. CCP is going to do motion-capture for walking in stations, -if they have any sense, they only have to walk down the street to the best studio in the world! And some Icelandic guy just bought West Ham United football club in England's Premiership! It's time to decide whose side you are on. Iceland is gradually taking over the world...
