Here are the two Drake setups that I'm thinking about (Passive Setup in Reply)
Highs:
7x Arbalest Heavy Missle Launchers (Tech 2 when I get the skills)
1x Medium NOS
Mediums:
1x Large Shield Booster II
1x Large Shield Extender II
2x Rat Specific Shield Resist Amp II's
1x Invulnerability Shield II
Lows:
2x Cross Linked Bolt Array BCU (T2 once I get skills)
1x Pseudo- Damage Control (T2 once I get skilled up)
1x Local Power Plant Manager PDU

Can you even run lvl 4s in this thing? Worse sig than a HAC, worse resists... Can't do BS sized boosting...

did the Stop the Thief mission that everyone was *****ing about how hard it was, in the active setup.. w/o the NOS though (had tractor beam on it)

Drake also has 6 meds so you might wanna put another hardner or whatever in there

Until someone demonstrates that it can do missions in a quicker and safer manner in my raven, the raven stays.

oops... forgot to add the 6th slot =p
Shield Amp in the Active setup
Shield Recharger in the Passive setup
Raven would be better, I agree.. however, I only have the skills for a BC atm.. and I have literally been able to go AFK for 5 minutes for a bio while doing Angel Extravaganza (L3) with the active setup

Never mind, he's talking about lvl3's. You can do the same thing in a passive tanked ferox. Nothing special there.
Thought you were talking about lvl 4's 
Too add a bit more (Note the drake CANNOT solo a lvl4 easier than a raven. I think the tittle is a Typo).
7x HML
3x T2 Extender 3x Specific Active
2x BCU 1x PDUII 1xSPR
Works wonders for me. I'd consider changing out the PDU II for another BCU II but it doesn't fit with my skills just yet.

My suggestion is to keep running lvl 3's until you can pilot (and pilot doesn't mean the ship itself but also the required skills to use the weapons and mods) a Raven. If you wander into a lvl 4 mission with a BC, you will more than likely get eaten alive. Especially if you go up against Guristas or other Torpedo happy factions. A BC's sig radius is about as bad as a BS, but a BS has a better tank.
If you can do lvl 3's with ease, then stick with them. Don't try a lvl 4 unless you can afford to loose the Drake. It might not happen, but if you can't afford it, you shouldn't risk it.

2006.12.02 08:47:17 Combat Gallente Navy Megathron places an excellent hit on you, inflicting 58.0 damage.
2006.12.02 08:22:40 Combat Your Scourge Heavy Missile hits Gallente Navy Megathron, doing 127.5 damage.
(Looting atm, while these 2 battleships attempt to bring me down past 50% shields... and reading the forums  )

level IV works really well in drakes. I only used it cause at least its a challenge and not so boring like using a full kitted bs
i was used to be ceo and now I have nothing to say, this is so relaxing :) |

currently I have been using.
7t2 heavy launchers
1 t2 10mn
1 t2 med booster
3 t2 rat specific hardeners
1 t2 cap recharger
2 t2 bcs
2 t2 pdu
5 light drones
the above has taken me through
Worlds Collied
Vengence
and many more
I think I can get a med nos onit but I been to lazy to buy.
Getting 295dps on standard scourge
and 345dps on fury scourge

High 7x Arbalest Heavies

Lows: 1x RCU II 1x BCU II 2x SPR
Can switch in another SPR for the BCU if you're worried about tank, or take it out and switch in two PDU IIs for the RCU and BCU... but it works great as is IMO. Can run every lvl 4 I've come across so far, and in some cases (with three spr) it can even tank BETTER than a raven. Has a hard time taking out bs though...

I was running some lvl4s in the drake, but I could not complete vengeance with it. I was able to clear the earlier rooms, but the last room where Hoborak Moon was I could not. The drake didn't have the DPS to break his tank. I was using a heavy missile setup with an active tank. Tanking was not an issue(that I encountered). I have pretty decent missile skills(Heavy missiles V, support skills at V, one at IV. I had to clean that one up with a torp Raven.
