Ok everybody I know this is a strange one but there is a cool service available for you if you are willing to spend a little isk.
That being said I offer a service of poems on any topic that you should choose. The one catch is that if I do not know about it or is super obscure it makes it hard to write about. In which case you get a full refund. I offer this service for a small fee of 10 million isk.
How it works:
Step 1: You send me the isk and put in the reason your topic.
Step 2: If it is something I know about or can write about I will write it and mail it to you or a designated person.
Step 3: Enjoy!
If I do not know about the topic I will contact you and ask you to clarify or to possibly pick a new topic. If you do not want another topic you get your isk back.
Example (written about the pilot)
Beluntz a deadly pirate to the end,
his will to which you will bend.
Killing without fear of death,
point and web landed his enemies feel a cold dead breathe.
Thanatos down and loot is good,
last time that ****** shows up in his hood.
Drones out guns firing,
the ships exploding is what he is admiring.
Boom the ship explodes,
and now the capsule implodes.
Thanks for the isk,
and for taking the risk.

This is only an example I will write on almost any topic clean, dirty or sweet. You name it I will write it. Tips are appreciated but not required. Depending on traffic or demand it might take a few to get to yours and write it.

Poetry is more than rhyming words. Read that out load, then google 'meter (poetry)' or equivalent. |

I think people might feel better if you gave 1 free sample to use as the example chosen by an impartial disinterested observer, rather than one of your own choosing.
How about a poem explaining the wisdom of paying an armed invader who is quite prepared to fight, but who offer that if you pay them cash they'll go away. |

I appreciate all the comments and my answer to those who say they are not good and all is that I have not had 1 dissatisfied customer and have done nearly 100 of them so far. Please however continue to comment. No one is required by any means to buy this service from me. |

I would say imagery is most important within the structure, but then I've always been a fan of Poe's dark world, so this would be a subjective opinion. But imagery alone gets one no where, not even out of ones bed in the morning. Many great works seem to often break rhythmic structure, some tend to reflect word salad, while even others provoke feeling out of a nonsensical word. The greatest poetry conveys the existence of the soul.
I wouldn't say it's bad, the OP's poem, as others have, but it's certainly a rough draft and one that seems to have been rushed. Poems can take hours, days or even months to write. So I would say, I can not describe the form of the chicken simply by observing the egg.
