why does the battlecruisers have a bonus to warfare link modules? they are not commandships and should not have that bonus.
what are the incentives now to put 6months+ into commandship training for people when bc's got more hitpoints and can use the same modules for a few days training.
i think that the bonus to gang modules should be removed from battlecruisers.
there should be some kind of reward for the people that actually trains all those skills for so long. and yeah fix so the person with the highest gang skills actually gets to use his gang skills. the gang skills dont even work in a 2man gang let alone in a 40man gang now.
total fubar aproach by CCP to the people who has taken their time to actually specialize in commandships.
and yes i fly all CS out there on one of my characters.

They've always had it before, in my experience nobody fits them anyways, especially now when they're only useful if you have a Fleet of 50+ to use them so its not as if people are going to flock to use bc's with warfare links, also the CS's have the ability to tank like crazy which is why they're useful, the BC's on the other hand are comparatively easily destroyed so there is your bonus and incentive right there.

well 6months to be good at something that now is fubared in the new gang system but can be done by a BC instead and costs a quarter of a CS.
the logic has escaped my as to why they would screw their dedicated customers over and over again with this kind of "balancing" tactics.

the primary target is usually the curses and the caldari jamming ships now anyway.

Edited by: franny on 02/12/2006 07:49:03 with the new gang system, it makes some sense to secondary(right after the jammers) the command ships, as they need to be the squad/fleet/wing commander to get the bonus, as it gimps the opposing gang by crippling their bonuses(boni, whatever)
a battle cruiser MIGHT slip under the radar a bit longer
it's all realative, if your fleet sniping 200km out and stuff dies before you can finish saying primary on TS then who cares but in smaller gangs where they have a CS and you don't, assume he's got some gang mods and blow him outta the damn thing

why are you complaining about the fact that BC have the bonus...maybe complianing that gang skills are kinda ****y right now would be better cause to kick and cry about.
but then again what do i know...i still im still farting around in a ferox.

Fleet command ships have a bonus to effectivness and can run 3 warfare links at once. A battlecruiser can run like... 1. Thats reason enough to train them if you are seriosly concerned with Gang mods. Add ontop of that mad resists and another extra bonus.
Field Command ships have 2 combat bonuses over Battlecruisers and improved resists. They deal alot more damage than their Tech 1 counterparts while tanking batter.
I really dont see your point. By your logic it seems to me that maybe the Omen shouldnt get laser bonuses because the Zealot does too and your suposed to put lasers on a Zeolot... -----

as it is now the BC's got 2 BC bonuses and 1 CS bonus=3 ship bonuses. where all other tech1 ships only got 2 bonuses.

It's a role bonus, not a ship bonus and its fine. It's not like Battlecruisers are better at it than Command ships. It allows people who are in training for Command ships to utilize command modules to a lesser degree than if they were using them on a Command ship.
Do you think Carriers/Motherships/Titans should loose their Warfare Link bonus because 'it's a command ship thing'?
EDIT: What I do think is wrong though, is that BCs have more HPs than Command ships now, this needs sorting ASAP. -----
