I bought a set of +3 implants a while ago to help me train skills faster. I just looked on the market again and now they are really cheap. +4 implants are now cheaper than +3s used to be. What happened that made them so cheap? Are people getting podded less now or is it because people now use pirate implants?
I really can't believe how cheap implants are now. I'm thinking of buying +4s. Is there that much of a difference that its worth it to buy +4s and destroy the +3s I currently have?

get a jump clone and install +4's in that and use it.

I imagine that with the learning skill training the way it is now (only needing lvl 4 in the basics to begin advanced learning), this has somewhat lowered the demand for implants. I'm just guessing though.

That's because the agent offer tables are borked: almost every combat agent will give you almost exclusively implant offers -> market flooded with them -> Prices crashing down.

that and strange level 4 courier missions, which were bugged, but i beleive were fixed now.
Apparently, one could get Level 4 Courier missions that needed 3 m3 cargospace, so players farmed them. Every 16 missions, they got a Storyline Courier mission for a +4 implant.

Important missions also almost entirely drop implants now, so that has further increased the supply

yeah... altho i still managed to sell a +3 implant for 40M isk before it went down :)

The reason they're so cheap is simply they're a lot more common than they used to be. Agent offers are almost always implants (usually 2 or 4 at a time) and they sometimes drop from npc rats / mission containers too (not often, but enough to add to the stockpile).
