I am a Caldari pilot in a raven. I've been doing missions for the Peace and Order Unit (caldari space corp) for a while now and havent had too much trouble. However I feel like the the npcs are using a lot of defender missiles. Would missioning for a corp outside of caldari space help? If so what would be a good corp?

Pretty much no. All factions fire defender missiles. |

Funny how some rats have a full rack of turrets, a defender, and cruise launcher (at least 10 highs by my count). Sansha Nightmares also seem to have more than 4 turrets, and defenders, and cruise launchers. Rate of fire (for turrets at least) is usually 1-2 seconds and never need a reload, yet individually abysmal DPS and they all have crap tanks that make t3 BC look beefy.

A 60 km range with torps should be enough for most missions.

yeah go for torps they seem to be pretty effective and do a decent amount of damage aswell |

Doing LVL IV missions in Drakes............. don't see a problem with defender missiles taking out a missile now and then.
Maybe coz I dualbox...? So ask in a corpie? |

Tengu works too. With a circa 4 sec rate of spewing heavy missiles, you really won't care about defenders.
