I think it's really interesting how the Hurricane looks nothing like a Minmatar ship.

Gaping holes don't need to be there - look at the Typhoon and Rupture, they're both very solid looking.
I do agree it doesn't look quite like the other minmatar ships because the 'sails' don't have their usual texture that's almost always present. |

Expect to see new textures on minnie ships with the KALI graphics update. Why bother now when its all gonna change with Trinity anyway?

Yeah, I sort of overstated it a bit, but I mean, it just looks so shiny and... well take the Tempest for example. It just looks like it's barely being held together. Paper thin almost. Similarly, the Typhoon just looks like a big flying bolt. Thick, but holes everywhere. This ship has volume, and looks very much solid.

This is a newly designed ship from Matar, story wise. So i guess you could say the matar finally figured out how to build ships.

the minies laid their hands on some shipments of good solid metal, built a nice looking ship (tbh i think the mini one looks the best new BS of the 4) and ur complaining about it? 
When i looked at teh mini one, for a second i contemplated training mini BS skill

Early matari ship designs were thrown together at the last minute during the Minmatar rebellion, they were hardly intended to look good. However because the war is clearly long over(At least to the majority) they now have time to properly build their ships. Hence why the newer designed ships don't fit the part of flying junk piles as much.
