I'm not sure if that was a serious response or not but it sure did make me laugh
seriously though, tried looking at your task manager after you shut eve down and seen if it's truely shut down properly?

probably as someone else already stated, check to see if EVE has shutdown completely. Of course with the onset of the diabolical Steam virus you can never realy tell what the hell is going on anymore.

Hate to say it but the solution is obvious... what you have to do is clear your Counterstrike cache... reboot your computer clear your Eve Cache... reformat your hard drive and put the factory install disk in and patch the eve client up to the latest version... wait...
I think the guy that runs Megashaft or Gateway "to hell" support center is giving tips to the support staff at CCP.... this is what we do at gateway...
1) Hi How can I help you 2) Sounds like a HDD error 3) Put factory install disk and reboot 4) Yes say delete all and hit ok 5) Quickly hang up to meet call volume time...
as contrasted to CCP support channel

Ah.. .good to get that out of our system :) yep... all better... From Ashes to Ashes... From Dust to Dust....

Make sure the toner cartridges have enough ink. And clear paper jam in tray 2. Warning, may cause blurred vision, premature balding, and nervous twitching. Use as directed. |

Simple fix for that in CS. In console just type:
bind "mouse1" "kill"
Seriously, it is probably that EVE was improperly shutdown. Did you press ESC and select quit game, or did you just click on the "X" if you are in windowed mode? -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |
