Depending on what kind of rats you salvage you can get about 20 to 50 rigs in an hour deticated salvaging. You need about 250 - 300 components to make one rig, and most ships can fit 3.
In 0.0 or while running lvl 4 mission you can earn 10 - 40 mil an hour, so that puts the price of a component at about 250k isk each, making the rigs pretty damn expensive.
Shouldn't we get a bit more loot from salvaging? or is it to soon to tell?

All your statements have been made before.
Plz read posts before making a new one about a topic that is already there...
...73 times.
And another thing - according to you, we can make 20-50 rigs in an hour, so what's the problem?

Personally, I think it is still too soon to tell.
However, I also think of Rigs as Implants for your ships. When the first hardwires came out, they were hard ro find, expensive and gave you an edge. Which is pretty much the same as Rigs.
I think they should keep the drop rate pretty much as it is, keep the skill reqs as they are. Wait at least a month and see what happens. These rigs should be rare - - very very rare. Otherwise we'll just end up with cookie cutter rig setups - then everyone will be back here cmplaining about lack of diversity..again.
I've watched a lot of changes happen in the time I've been playing, it used to be a real buzz, seeing a rare ship or finding a rare skill, item. Now we keep heading towards instant gratification. When I started playing EvE it was all about the long game. I'd lke to see it stay that way, keeps it different from the competitors.

I couldn't agree more.
The only changes i would like to see are:
loot = can Salvage = wreck
no loot = no can no salvage = no wreck
Also a range modifier skill for the salvager would be very helpful and also the seeding od med and large tractors.
I believe this would make most people happy. .
