Innovative fit. I think you could have def stayed on field longer but I don't blame you for leaving either.

The 1st fight has 6 ppl in local 2 are the author, 3 are chasing him and the 4th is in a different alliance i see no indication of points extending the regular range. On the second fight more in local someone could have been links but again i don't see higher range on points nor suspicious speeds.
The other side had just regular t2 ships, no bling, no links, so i'm sorry not impressed... |

I think you misunderstand the whole shabang a bit. Fighting alone vs a navy brutix, sleip and a navy phoon in the first fight. He has to be able to tank almost 3k dps, while being under threat of heavy neut of the phoon. While he still had the means to keep the fight going, killing stuff and doing all this with a fairly unorthodox fit.
Second fight the hostiles had even more dps on the field. The key in fights like this is to split the enemy up enough to be able to tank em all. In that the OP did excellent work.
I know there are ppl with bling brawling sleips in crystal clones, who could have taken that fight just brawling. but most of the video providers do not have pirate implants in 0.0 vidyas. Some do, like big miker, but most dont. While in both fights the hostiles both outnumbered him AND were in equal ships. Both fights had a sleip v sleip situation. |

I think you got it wrong:
1.4 bil Sleipnir
850 mil crystal pod
Plus in the 1st fight the dmg is more around 2k-2.5k, depending on how much can the tempest do.
My point stands: linked, boosted, with expensive implants, in a blingy ship vs some scrubs in t2, but still scrubs thus clubbing some seals. |

Did you create the ocean? Impressive amounts of salt, against a PvP video, which regardless of your "Grrr links" bias was still enjoyable. Even with links, thats a tough fight. With ONE cap booster against a typhoon FI which, if smart will have 2 heavy neuts.
Meanwhile hes using a 100mn AB and SB running off 1 booster. Would you prefer he drop his links and then die in 20 seconds from no cap? Thats not really good solo pvp vids. But since you seem so confident about yourself, where are your videos? Lets see some solo sleip action w/o links.
Ive never flown with links. Ive killed people with links. I dont mind links to an extent. On frigs, i think youre a risk averse coward if use them when youre solo in an astero/svipul etc. As it turns frigs into things that cant be hit even with small guns, unless you blob/web the **** out of them. On bigger ships, this is less an issue to me. They will take more damage, so beefing up the tank makes sense. Plus its a sleip FFS.. how often are sleips not linked?
OP, i liked the video. Decent fights, even with the links.

He is not only linked, but has mid crystals, very blingy ship(granted a fairly unused fit) and booster. I have nothing with any of the above, just not impressed by the vid as any monkey that can press 3 buttons can do this in the exact same situation. |
