Hello,
I have bought some BPOs recently for making BPCs out of. But I was wondering, is it possible to just sell unresearched BPCs? or will no body buy them?
I am asking this because the horrendous wait times for rresearch slots and the fact that I'm too much of a cheapskate to rent a slot from a POS.
Thanks for all the answers!

It's possible. It just depends on a few factors. How much competition? How sought out is the bp? For instance, the bc bpo's. Me 1/2's are coming out of the labs now. BPC's of those will be available probably in a few hours from now if not already. But someone bought an ME 0 BPC already. Those seeking to sell the unresearched bpc's will be facing increasing competition. Not only do you get what you pay for... you can only sell to people what you invest in. Try to get away with cheap crap, you'll have to hope some idiot comes along and wants cheap crap to buy.
Cheap != Win
The Eve-Online forums may not have invented whining, but they sure have perfected it.

Depends on if you can sell enough of the cheap to make more than you would at high price.
/me recommends selling to some people you already know and see if they want one.
Despite all the fanfare, there is still a large part of the community that hasn't bought a bpo, bpc, or even the ships themselves.

In Eve, anything is possible...
My thoughts on selling unresearched BPC's - Who would be your target buyers? From my experience those people who buy BPC's are small manufacturers who dont have the capital to buy all the BPO's themselves. They also have lots of competition out there in ship building so need to be able to make the ships as cheaply as possible. If corp A buys your BPC and corp B buys my researched BPC then corp B can sell its ships for less and still make the same percentage of profit.
There are some individuals who make their own ships rather than buy one already made. If these individuals are cost savy enough to build their own then they may also look for the best researched BPC to save even more. You could run a few BPC's and try to sell them while you wait for the research
I think you could sell some unresearched BPC's, but I think you could sell much more by researching them. Eve is a long term game and you need to play it as such. Once you invest the time needed to research those BPO's you will always have them and they will always generate revenue.

1) it is a novelty factor "look at me, I got the first one!" situation like BPC's currently for the new BC's and BS's which were just released. This will go away fairly soon.
2) Super-expensive low volume items where people might build them fairly rairly and are therefore somewhat insensitive to the extra mineral and time costs of an unresearched print.

Agreed, but add: 3) Super-INexpensive, low-volume items for 0.0 use, where, for instance, a 1500-run Light Shield Maintenance Bot I BPC is a handy thing to have around if you suddenly need them, regardless of the ME.
