I've been having this problem for a while, but now I'm getting fed up. All the ship models and station models (inside and usually outside) have the super low level of detail textures you'd expect on a MIP mapped texture from like 1000000000km away, but its really disgusting to look at my new Drake BC and have all the textures be not much more than a blur of greys and blacks. I left eve on in a station for about 3 hours accidentally then came back and the textures were the way they were supposed to be, but I really dont want to have to wait 3 hours just to get the right textures up.
So, how would I go about fixing this? Its not just Revelations thats made it do this, its been doing this for a few months now, but I didn't really realize just how awful the textures were till I saw how great the Drake really looks. And yes, I've tried with with and without the Use LOD setting on.
ADDED:
Oh, and the into video looks absolutely way too low res, its also suffering something.

Take it you have cleared your chache folder?
Deleted all the texutures etc...

Yeah, deleting the cache didn't work, and its the same on my test server installed.

Hi there, could you please post your system specs ?
Also, it could be the settings on your graphics card itself ? You have it all the way set to "performance" instead of "quality" ?
