i converted to fleet, the forman is the 'commander/boss' whatever, the rest are in default lowest ones
this worked before for the bonus for foreman NOW...suddenly...it's not working...missing something? anyone confirM?

god this kali is ridiculous
so it works for 5 mins, had to demote myself to a squad commander over squad
then 5 mins later it just randomly stops working without changing a damned thing makes no sense, hven't even moved

This is a nice thread. You talking to yourself.
Mining bonus should work. Create a gang. convert it to a fleet. Then invite the mining forman with link as a squad leader. Have the mining foreman be in space and activate the link.
When warping the link deactivates....

Perhaps it's your leadership skill... You can have 2 members per level in your squad... otherwise the bonuses won't work (?)
The whole system is bit confusing.

confusing doesn't even begin to describe
so ina gang of 3, leadership 1 should work
But the damned thing was ona hulk pilot, who wasn't moving at all, boosting an apoc tank, who also wasn't moving
the bonus went on and off randomly (sometimes when the hauler undocked) totally makes no sense at all
the foreman (no mind linking in this case) formed gang, converted to fleet, made himself squad leader...sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't, very frustrating how silly it is that ccp didn't explain the changes :(

It works 100% well, did you read my guide?
In all my tests there wasn't any problem at all. Try training Comprehension to 4 and try again.

If you have Leadership V
You may be part of a gang of 10 people (including yourself) providing the foreman bonus.
If you have leadership I then you can only command a gang of 2 people (including yourself) with the bonus. If a 3rd person joins the bonus stops functioning.
This is neglacable for most maxed out foreman/directors since running the link requires leadership V anyway.
Edit: For you to command say 20 people. YOU must have wing command II your Squadron Leaders must have Leadership V to pass on the gang bonus to the squad members below them.

This is not true. The Gang bonus functions system wide.

Your problem is right here. Leadership level 1 only allows for a 2 man gang for bonuses. You have three. This is verified by your statement here:

When the hauler is docked, you have a 2 man gang in space, bonus works.
When the hauler undocks, you have a 3 man gang in space, but can only command 2, bonus fails.
1 level of Leadership gives you 2 members in a gang for bonuses. Spend an hour, train level 2, problem solved.

Don't worry, there a little story behind that. We had an argument in another thread where he insulted me and called me a n00b because I didn't know anything about mining. Then I pointed him to my guide, and he got so pwned people found the thread hilarious. He was so ashamed that his only left defense was to insult everyone and anyone telling him he should now shut the heck up because he was losing more and more dignity every time he posted. The funny thing is, he really thinks he was right
Best thing to in this case is make him believe he is right so he shuts up as fast as possible, there really is not point arguing or helping such people!  Or ignore him!

Now you come onto a completely different thread. Try to "bash me" here with your arrogance. Only to be expsoed as being wrong...yet again.
I truely love the way you twist my words around to in this last reply to give people about 1/5th of the truth. Hopefully no one is stupid enough any more to take your word as gospel now that you've been proven to be wrong about a half dozen times and actually goes read the previous thread.
About 10 dif people were pointing out how utterly wrong you were about carriers. In fact you didn't know a damned thing about carriers, and tried to pass off your little knowledge as gospel and you got made a fool of. It's the plain truth, you know it. and now yer just trying to save face here.
Sad sad little man you are. I've now got a forum stalker that is so desperate to save face he'll post in anything I post in. That is truely the sign of a sad sad little man ;)

Dude, Halda isn't wrong on this one. His guide does cover the leadership system. Your problem would seem to be that you have 3 people, and your squadron commander has only 1 rank of leadership trained.
My gang bonus char is conistantly giving the bonus now, once I was shown how to convert the gang into a fleet. I'm the boss, my alt with the gang bonus is the squadron commander, and we can have a sqaud of 10 recive the bonus. Works great, and the module and implant work too. 139.5 sec cycle time on strip miners 
And I really doubt Halda is stalking you... in the past, he's answered tons of threads about mining and mining bonuses in the stations and starbases forum. If you hang out on my lawn, you can't say I'm stalking you just because you see me there 4 times a day
