Nope, im on it
Maybe your ISP, your new router ed. or some minmatar engineer blocked the port eve uses? --------

Make sure to close your EVE Client and re-start it- sometimes it's needed for it to update on server status.
And if in doubt, reboot the PC. Fixes everything EVE related for me -----------------------------------------------

No joy for me sever status comes up unknown.
I am on a laptop on a wireless connection at work.
Restarted laptop and client still no joy. I can surf the internet fine and load up on counter strike and battlefield 2 but no joy with eve.
I have no additional firewalls and windows firewall is off. There is no anti virus or any other programs running.
It is a wireless AP2 network full signal strength. Network authentication is open data encryption is disabled.
Any ideas?

Has EVE deffinatly run on this network before? If not, it might be that that particular port is blocked.
Try selecting the test server and seeing if you get any status-check from that? -----------------------------------------------

Not tried eve on this network before. Test server comes back with a status unknown and says there is a new build available.

Might be that the port is blocked. *I'm told* you can get round this by using a Proxy server, but I'm no good at that kind of thing -----------------------------------------------

Problem still persists please help.
I think it is due to a blocked port how do I get around it, using a proxy? If so how do I do that.
It is a work WAN and I don't have access to the router/firewall. Still no problems with battlefield 2 or counter strike though.
Thanks in advance.
